Dont care, if JT beat Clemson with a deminshed arm due to the onlique, hard to argue he is not the best.

I ultimately just want the qb that gives us the best chance to win, could care less about the beauty contest at that position.

Half of last season that qb was stetson until JT got fully cleared. Thankfully, those days are behind ua.

What changed about Beck? I hear good things, but last year, not so much. I get maturity and a year under his belt in the system. I’m not expecting him to come out and unseat JT, though.

He's the #2 QB and we didn't score an offensive TD last week, so now Beck is the persecuted real talent being suppressed and held back by inept coaches with black hearts who are meanies.

Well framed. I don’t know if people will get behind that narrative without the racial component, though. Which is just a sad indictment of our society as a whole.

Well, if Beck is the QB Saturday, I hope he does well. I don't care who the QB is, as long as he plays well.

He may be that eventually, but what makes you think he's currently the best QB on the team?

Also, define "best".

The backup QB is everyone's favorite player until he gets on the field

Perhaps I should have said, "now provide the factors that determine what the best is"

Best physical attributes and arm talent? Possibly.

Best overall QB? There’s a reason JT is starting and it’s not because of seniority alone

He has the talent. Supposedly he was suppose to go in vs Arkansas and he got upset that they went to Bennett instead. He then pouted all year and was looking to transfer but he found out that all of his options weren't that great. He then decided to change his attitude and stick around and try to win the job. From the other board it sounds like some of the players say he's the better qb but he has the comfort of being able to force plays as the #2 qb and not worry as much about ball security.

If I had to guess, it's Beck. IF JT is hurt there's no reason to play him against UAB.

I hear he has a much better arm/accuracy than JT. But JT has the intangibles and is undoubtedly the leader of the team. We will see how Beck does this Saturday
