Alabama is a great football team. So is UGA. They played a hard fought physical game that came down to the last play. Yall are morons.

Yeah..but running right into the heart of their line...and right at their starting NG who just walked back in...probably want the best call IMO
It was a helluva game..

Meh, probably not the best call, but if he was tackled in the backfield on a stretch play, I'm sure the play still would've been criticized.
Regardless, as you said, it was a good game. We showed up ready to play and fought tooth and nail with an elite team, and were one play away from beating Goliath. I'm proud of our showing, even if I'm disappointed with the final score.

The game was lost in the trenches not by the coaching. Still we were 5 yards from going to the BCS Title, I know that doesn't mean shite but blaming CMR for every loss (or lackluster win) is kind of old. They played their hearts out, left it all on the field against the best team in the country (I refuse to acknowledge ND as the best team in the country). Proud of the effort but at the end of the day there are no A's for effort only scoreboards but don't act like this was a typical "shite the bed" UGA performance.

Dominated? Show me those stats, please. We damn sure did in the running game, didn't we? What you sound like is a little crybaby who always points fingers. Richt wasn't out coached and it was a hell of a game. Quit crying because there isn't a damn thing you can do. And don't give me any horse shite about being a donor, because I am both a graduate and donor. Tennessee would be the perfect team for you!

With a great offense coming back next year and NO defense, get ready to be DOMINATED!!!!

The good and bad news is we will still have AM next year

With Mason for a year after and Brice Ramsey in the wings... We need to BIG A*S OL and DL to compete...

You show your stupidity with every post. Ask for a refund on that $3.00 plastic coke glass and your wallet won't be affected.

This is the sad story of poor time management and being gashed up the middle. Saban wasn't calling anything fancy because he didn't have to. Yeldon was getting 10 yards per pop at the end. And let's not forget our awful field goal kicker.
This was it. This was our time. The stars had aligned. And we blew it.
The thing is - teams like Alabama don't need to wait on the perfect schedule. They play complete football almost every Saturday - a well disciplined team who leaves everything on the field - a direct result of excellent coaching.
Whether it's the lack of personnel in the trenches, poor play calling, giving up on the run, penalties, not capitalizing on turnovers, or time management issues - all of that ultimately falls on the coaching staff.
Who knows? Maybe in another 30 years we can regroup and have another shot. Fingers crossed.

I'm talking scoreboard. We dominated them where it counted and STILL couldn't close. Also proving we had more talent. Making my point more valid... GTFO RICHT.
NO! GTFO 20oz! The Trade School needs sunshine fans like you.

20oz could never be a Tech fan. That requires more intestinal fortitude than he has.

Yeah..and besides, he'd never be able to afford traveling to conference road games in Wisconsin, Nebraska and Minnesota..
Is the Tech football team even gonna have the funds to make these trips, or are they just gonna forfeit two or three games a year to meet budget?

Alabama - 85 scholarship players
Georgia - 70 scholarship players
CMR wasn't out coached, they just have more/better players. Our guys fought hard and came up 4 yards short. Still should have clocked it at the end though.

Nah. We'll take some yellow school busses, and the team will eat KFC and throw the bones out the window. It'll be just like a AA high school road trip.

They ran the ball down our throats. That was talent, not coaching. They have depth and we don't
This......Is a coaching problem. Don't get me wrong, CMR/Bobo/the rest of the staff has redeemed themselves. But when you only have 70 scholly players, you're asking for problems. You think saban will gimp his team because it is "right thing"? Actually, for the most part, Bobo and CMR out coached Saban last night. (other than the three and outs at the absolute worst times when the D was already beat.) That being said, if CMR and company would start signing more kids, in anticipation of losing kids out of the program, like has happened many years running, then we would have probably have won that game. We, for the most part, stopped bama. Until the D was constantly on the field and wore down. So, that is a coaching "problem", but not in the same way as we have had in the past. The worst part about it, is that murray, alone, cost us the game with that failed pass with 12 seconds left. Or for that matter, a halfway decent FG kicker makes that game 100% closer, and we probably would have been kicking the ball for the win instead of having to get a TD. That is one major fail on CMR's part, is not recruiting Kickers until we have to have one. Walsh was great as a Freshman, but one year in the system ALWAYS helps. Morgan may be great next year, but we should have had a plan B.

You should go back and read ALL the threads you started last night.
I read some of them this morning while taking a 20ounce. They are pretty much textbook examples of how a coward handles defeat. Pretty depressing stuff.............

But objectively recruiting/roster management is the responsibility of the HC so no Richt wasn't specifically out-coached in that game but his inability to maintain our roster with quality depth almost certainly contributed to the loss.
