I dont think richt was out coached...i think grantham was....he didnt make second half adjustments like he usually does. we have 9 guys that are going to be drafted...giving up these many rushing yards should never happen. tell me how we will ever beat bama if we couldnt do it this year with 9 nfl prospects? i'm waiting now!!

Keep your boy, fellas. I'm done pumping money into a program that settles for mediocrity. I already do that with the Falcons and Braves.

Frick you. You're calling us dumb. You prove me wrong about today. And we need more proof than ”we lost”

Don't understate Bama's talent. As much as I love the Dawgs, I can't help but notice the only team that has been able to beat them had the freak of a QB that could win the Heisman. UGA has a lot of talent, but we don't have it where it counted tonight: in the trenches. I believe our talent is what kept the game so close.

Wow... I agree, however it falls on CMR. Period. We were "good" in every game when it counted, except tonight. These kids are smoking stone and laughing their asses off (although they are "pissed" deep down) CMR has ZERO control and shows ZERO emotion. We will never bring home a crystal football under CMR.
If you guys are content, that's cool. However, I'm not, but again it's MHO.

Discipline
NOT TALENT... Again... Coaching. Period.

I'm talking scoreboard. We dominated them where it counted and STILL couldn't close. Also proving we had more talent. Making my point more valid... GTFO RICHT.

Bama certainly does have more discipline, but this game was won on the ground by more talented players (at least where it mattered). Saban didn't do anything but tell them to block Jarvis and run full speed. You could argue that his poor clock management in the first half was pretty awful; not becoming of the genius status attributed to him. We were beat by a better team, not necessarily by a better coach.

I don't buy it. UGA was the more talented team. Alabama has the best oline in the Nation, but I can't believe that was the reason we lost tonight. We had plenty of opportunities to kill the tide and our oline didn't step up. Our pass rush was laughable at best and our rush D was HORRID.
Just watch the draft.
Yet again we PUMP MOTHER frickERS INTO THE NFL AND HAVE ZERO CRYSTAL FOOTBALLS HOMBRES!!

Our defense lost us this game due to the running game, not the passing game. They had the one TD pass that took us down but they ran the ball all over us. Yes, our pass rush wasn't superb, but its hard to rush the passer when he is handing it off every play.
Again, we have tons of talent, but not where we needed it today. We were bested up front.

Basically we agree. I've said the same fricking shite for years. LINEMEN WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS. We have yet to field a dominant Oline under Richt. Saban isn't dumb. He recruits the best linemen, pumps them full of roids and dominates us. Saban > Reverend Richt.
GTFO RICHT.

I agree with 20oz...yall can spin however you want to....but look at granthams record against good offenses since he has been here. We haven't been dominant on defense since the 03 season...yet we put all these players in the nfl. before the last two seccg's we talked smack saying we had the best defense...yet it backfired on us again. we should of kept our mouths shut and let our play do our talking...also i think we are cursed in the georgia dome

Nope..its more subtle than that. We Bobo'd it up as clock control and giving our D a break doesn't factor into our playcalling. Our TOP was terrible.
Pay close attention...Gurley averaged over 5 yds per run but we still threw the ball 50% more than we passed. Bad coaching ...we lose. EOS.

Linemen aren't sexy signings. Sure, you'll get some nods from people in the know, but your average sports writer, your average fan, and your average booster care more about the speedy receiver, the stud linebacker, the horse running back, and the steely-eyed, square-jawed quarterback. The guys on the line (O and D) are just background.

We don't have depth. That's what our problem was. We couldn't stop Bamma's all-American front, play after play, and we got worn out.
Also, we couldn't run the ball on key downs, like when Gurley was stuffed on 3rd and 1. We had dropped passes, penalties, and sacks/TFLs at bad times which caused us to have to throw more than we probably should have. That, paired with the long drives of Alabama and the back-to-back possessions due to the blocked kick, really wore down or defense, apart from what the offense was doing at the time.
We just got beat up front and worn down without depth. Play calling and our TOP was certainly a factor, but what did us in was our opponent's skill and strength.
