You fockers better not lose to those fricken pansy kitty cats.

Late in the 4th, y'all had it, 4th down and Richt chose to punt, I think 5 yards was all that was needed. Gurley was avg'ing 12 yards per carry, and so was Hicks. Murray was avg'ing 11 yards a completion...why punt? That was a coaching error in judgement.

Happens a lot. Welcome to the life of a UGA fan. :banghead: Agreed FWIW.

We need Gurley healthy next week and our defense better strap their helmets on because Spurrier is going to try and run it down our throats and the first week of the season is not a good sign that we will be able to handle it.

We won't. :wah:

No, we won't lose to UF or UT. They both suck wayyyyyyyyyyyyy worse than us. We will win 10, just won't matter. Like usual. Good thing we get it over early. I have shite I need to do.

Just like last year. Only it won't matter this time.

I'm pretty sure she is doing the exact opposite. She is saying that a 4.0 in certain disciplines probably won't mean chit. Then again, maybe they are really smart and just chose a crappy degree. Or maybe someone has a crappy GPA in a very tough degree, that doesn't necessarily mean they are dumb. Lastly, there are people who cheat, and those may have a great GPA but not know anything, or be dumb as h377.

Criminal justice isn't a degree. It's training to get an extra $2 an hour as an office building rent-a-cop and possibly be a shift leader.

It's a degree program at the shite state school I attend.

However, yes, we can agree that it is a WORTHLESS piece of paper.

If you're in the bottom 50% of BioChem, you're probably still pretty smart.

If you're a 4.0 Education major, you're probably still dumb.

So, nahhh.

Exactly.

It kinda aggravates me to see people that can't even get though basic remedial college algebra get money thrown at them, but engineering majors that have a lower GPA for obvious reasons, get screwed. Then we wonder why the country is falling behind on math and science. If the sciences had even more incentives behind them, and we took away aid for the arts and crap that don't matter, then you would get a more edumacated populace. But what ever.

PS, I know a girl that graduated with a 4.0 in criminal justice and couldn't even figure out where the internet was on her iphone. :banghead:

Damn, and I thought we were cool. Well, so much for that.

Negative ghost rider. Dude from Fl Atlantic ran for 81 yards with 14 carries. George from Kentucky had 87 with 12 carries. Ga southern back had over 100. Im leaving out a few, but it's not a secret that it didn't take much to run on us.

^ didn't read what Dee wrote.

He said SEC rush defense. Which is straight from the article.

They should let you buy tickets week by week versus having to buy a full season.

I didn't realize they did this. That's stupid.

Can you transfer single game tickets to another student? Or is it all or nothing?
Yeah, but that's kinda BS too. If you don't want to go then don't buy the ticket. I think a strike system would be the best for everyone. If you need to miss for some reason, then you can. But if you are a chronic skipper, then you shouldn't be allowed to continue to purchase tickets.
quote:

If a student buys a ticket just load it on their ID card and have it scanned at the gate. No student should get a ticket for $5 and be allowed to scalp it for $40 or more.
I also like the idea of cutting student ticket numbers to prior uears average student attendance.
When I was in school football tix were a dollar and it was first come on seats. There were fools in the stadium 4 hours before a game drinking and the fights and cursing was unreal by gametime.

I think this or a 2-3 strike policy are the best way to make sure kids that actually want to go to the game, get to go. Then the rest, the ones that could care less to begin with, will stop getting tickets unless they actually plan on attending, and the AD could make more money by moving those left over tickets into the general pool.

I only say the no id card deal because I had family members back in the day that would get tickets for everyone in the family that could pass as a student age person and save everyone money. I was never a beneficiary of that, as by the time I was old enough to "pass" as a college age kid they had long since done away with that system. But I would agree, I don't want them scalping those tickets.
This is why they should stop requiring a photo id with a student ticket. Then, if that doesn't fix it, (threaten first) then roll back the student ticket allowance to less than the average attendance. Make it clear that they want the stadium full, and if they students are not going to show, then stop giving them tickets.

In all honesty, if GT actually wants to compete in conference they are better off staying in the ACC. If it's only about money, then they are better off going to be a whipping boy in the B1G. GT will never compete for conference titles in the B1G. Also, they will be more likely to miss more bowls in the B1G. So, pick your poison, but I think from a competitive/geographic standpoint they need to stay put. It is hard to turn down the Lame 10s money though.
