I've been in sales for 20 years and feel like I make my own raises. Just sell a little more and bam, more cash in your pocket.

It is virtually the same in my industry. Tiered bonus incentives and the like.

The negotiating is for training pay and compensation (there is a 3 month training period with no sales. Then a 2 year period on plan with diminishing base pay as the sales rep gets established). I look for people who know what they are worth and have to sell me on it.

If they take what I offer, they are order takers.

However if I had someone in sales who was too chickenshit to ask for a raise, then I would fire him/her as well. You can't expect anything if you do not ask.

Sort of like the old Dutch East India company: if you're not smart enough to steal from the company, you're not smart enough to steal for the company.

Chandy was using a lot of vulgar language

You've obviously never heard Kirby Smart in practice, in the locker room, or on the field. Do you think he's ordering pizza when he's stalking the sidelines?

I've heard his language and can understand what he is saying on the sidelines during games. I've seen him get pretty ticked off. Not saying Kirby doesnt cuss
