I agree. I'm much more concerned about giving some our young guys experience during the bowl game who will actually be on the team next season.
Having said that, regardless of the new Covid environment, much of our apparent underachievement public perception is due to the fact that all too often we don't have highly recruited players playing in games for a wide variety of reasons.

For instance Athlon Sports projects UGA vs Cincinnati in the Peach Bowl

Need this...

I was shocked when I heard Pat McAfee (via PMS 2.0) say that Cincinnati was deserving of a chance at the CFP and then doubled up by saying they could smoke UGA this year.

I don't get it. People go bonkers when a G5 team goes undefeated. There are people out there claiming Coastal Carolina would roll Georgia and/or Florida. Based on what? I have not seen Cincinnati play, I don't know much about them.

Next thing you know they will have both of these teams being better than Ala.

Cincy runs the same kind of multiple, up tempo, pass-happy spread type offense that almost every one of those AAC teams run. Doesn't bode well for a team that has had a porous secondary....

Like us, for instance.

Desmond Ridder is a much, much better runner than passer.

Kind of like Missouri?

The only thing that worries me is our guys
perhaps losing focus but Kirby seems to have done an excellent job keeping their heads on straight and motivated.

Let's see if there's anymore opt outs but I have no doubt we win by a minimum of 17+ points

I read a projection this morning that had Florida V Cincy in the Peach and UGA V NC in the Orange. I like that just because of KO times. Peach 1230, Orange 800.
