Nothing anyone can do about hurt players or players sitting out as a precaution due to the draft.

But there’s absolutely no excuse for the unknown reasons.

WR Lawrence Cager (Hurt)
WR Dominick Blaylock (Hurt)
WR Kearis Jackson (Hurt)

RB Brian Herrien (Unknown)
OT Demarcus Hayes (Unknown)
DL Tyler Clark (Unknown)
DL Justin Young (Unknown)
LB Quay Walker (Unknown)
LB Walter Grant (Unknown)
DB Divaad Wilson (Unknown)
DB Tyrique McGee (Unknown)

Unknown
RB D’andre Swift (Hurt)

From another source on Facebook, I though Herrien failed a drug test?

I dont know why people are frustrated.

Under Richt, the program was bashed for airing out dirty laundry.

Under Smart, people are going insane about "unknown".

I'm all for unknown. Students have a right to privacy for medical and academic situations. And I honestly dont want to know every time a teenager has a teenager mistake.

Kudos to smart. I wish the media would pick up what he is putting down and learn to shut up.

Could be they didn’t put out during practice. Didn’t Smart say something about the only players that would get to make the trip are those that really want to be there?

THIS... Why the frick does it matter. They are either playing or they aren't, and at this point, more seem to be not playing than are.

Let the program take care of itself without airing all of the dirty laundry.

I wanna know WTH is going on.Sorry,I don't see this happening at LSU,AU,Bama or UF and it would be HUGE issue if we had made it to the playoffs.

Is there an issue with the school and or academic advisors? Are we recruiting some bad kids?

I don't anyone to name names but I wanna find out if this some trend and I sure as heck don't wanna see it happen again.

Does anybody remember what happened after Jan Kemp? Or all the players we were perpetually suspending under CMR?

I'd smoke a bag too after that travesty of a game.

Unfortunately none of our competitors had to and we were flunking out guys right and left and also turned away anyone who
was on the boarder academically.

Just wanna be on the same playing field as everyone else and it hasn't been the case most of the last 35+ years.

Dumbass fans have no right to be nosie about our players lives and their ups and downs.

Only a fricking narcissist would think they are somehow in that link.

It's Kirby's polite way of telling you to mind your own damn business.

The best playing field is to allow players the opportunity to disclose their injuries (hipaa)
Allow players the opportunity to disclose their grades (ferpa).
And if anything hasnt been leaked to the press by the police, then dont say anything publicly about it. Keep it in-house (especially discipline).

Would you prefer “violation of team rules“? The general public has no right to know who is struggling academically unless the student volunteers that info (Cleveland for example), same with failed piss tests. The coaches know the specific reasons and are responsible for addressing them. That’s it.

frick that. Without the fans there would be no program. What other schools are having multiple dudes sit out for unknown reasons? Or at all...at least in the large numbers it’s occurring with UGA.

If it is happening due to drugs or grades then that’s a problem is it not? frick that it is what it is bullshite.

You may be ok with it but some of us are not.

Also that bullshite with Swift since the tech game pisses me off as well. Kirby says he’s fine then changes it to he’s going to try to play....then right before the game he’s like Swift is ok. Then when he doesn’t do shite after the game Kirby is like he was fine as far as I know. Now he’s saying he’s going to try and play??

That’s such bullshite. Teams are going to prepare as if Swift is playing either way. Stop misleading the fans.

Don't wanna know anything about individual players but I sure as heck would like to know if the school or Kirby has implemented some new academic guidelines or have new drug testing procedures/penelties.

This is Kirby's 4th year and nothing remotely like this
has happened and I don't see it going on at any of our SEC rivals this bowl season.

He is misleading the opponent.

You don't see the difference?

My suggestion is to stop betting on college football if you cant handle coach-speak done properly.

Will be interesting to see who all suits up tomorrow night. Whoever is playing I hope wants to be there and is ready to play. That thing last year was an embarrassment to the program.
