Seems like SC and Oregon had absolutely no defensive line. If Stetson has time to sit back in the pocket he has time to dump the ball off to his outlets. We really did not need to run the ball at all vs SC and Oregon. Weird to see a UGA have problems tackling. Tonight we had to run the ball and pre-4th quarter we struggled some with the run. Missouri looks like a good team. I will need to back and watch their highlights - not sure how they lost to K-State 41-12.

We like to say the sec is the best conference and the nfl says any fiven sunday. Then when we take a struggling teama best shot at knockinf off a number1, we are like, we suck.

We survived, Missouri would beat Notre Dame/Texas last night who did this same thing to Ohio State and Bama.

Tackling last night was a function of not being in good position to make tackles. We havent suddenly forgot, its just harder when you are only getting glancing shots instead of our usual headon.

It’s all situational. One or two plays change the entire perspective.

Kent St it was the turnovers early. Mizz it was the two turnovers and two dropped passes early.

Our D isn’t as good. They have time to improve (hopefully). We can’t turn the ball over…we don’t have last years D to bail us out.

One thing interesting last night seemed we tossed way fewer screens. Maybe we had to keep backs in bc we couldn’t handle pressure?

As always…team is likely somewhere in the middle. Win. Stay healthy. Move on.

Stetson was off last night for three quarters. He over threw a couple passes that would’ve been go ahead touchdowns and he threw the ball behind a few guys across the middle which would’ve been big gainers. On a few he was lucky to have not gotten picked off. He also threw the ball over McIntoshs head every time we tried that swing pass he did so well against Oregon and SC. He also fumbled the ball trying to pull that handoff back. The kid (26 year old man) was just off last night. Different from the kent state game where the whole team decided not to show up. I expect we deservedly drop in the polls and we get our heads back straight this week and go kick the shite out of auburn.

I felt like play calling last night on offense was lacking, and very vanilla! Very little misdirection, or catch a receiver on an end around. The play calling looked a lot like Bobo, Richt era! On top of that very sloppy. I get it, you take what the D gives you!

Momentum and a night road game. Miltons fumble after the long run. PI on 3rd and 19. Dropped balls on 3rd down. We kept them and their crowd in the game.

I dont think so, missouri was in the passing lanes and several balls he throw as such either our guy caught it or no one. Looked like bad throws but really werent

I was referring to the question of how K State beat Mizz so badly. Mizz threw 4 ints.

But yes, we dropped 2 last night

Missouri had our snap count times. Stet was always waiting until there was less than 5 on the play lock and using the same signal for the snap. UGA changes that with the quick huddle snap and it made a big difference

Yep, thats homefirld advantage but once the ppay clock gets down they know. Other thing was we were confused and that causes hesitation.

I give credit for the Milton fumble to the defender who made a very athletic play on the ball in mid-flight, something more of a "take away" than a garden variety fumble.

The players themselves didn't seem to have as much energy overall. Like they all had the flu or something. Not much celebrating after big plays. Like they felt like shite and didn't want to be there. Similar to Kent State but even worse. Kent State struggle could mostly be blamed on one guy having a horrible day. @ Mizzou was the whole team looking like they were sick or on downers. I do know the flu (regular, not Wuhan) is going around Gwinnett/Walton could be in Athens too.

I noticed this too, reminded me of the 2012 game at USC where the defenders were in Murray's face immediately because they were jumping the snap on queue.

Crazy thing is if you look at the stats last night and not the score you would think we had blown their arse out.
