Don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a UGA defense like that and I’ve been watching for a long time. Just hope the offense gets better. OL actually played really well outside of the penalties.

Amazing that so many on this board thought the game was gonna be some type of shoot out.
BTW,NOBODY has a better defensive staff with Kirby,Lanning,Schmann and Muschamp...lets not kid ourselves,Boom obviously gave Kirby some input on defense tonight.

A Gap blitz was obvious.
Clemson was extremely weak on the interior and we have the best ILB in college football.
Im sure boom may have had some advice on the backend scheme though

Not even close. BVD defense gave up plays it shouldn’t have. This was the best defense UGA has fielded in the modern era.

Agreed, Pollack was just so damn good and brought pressure on almost every play. We don’t have a Pollack in our front 7 but this is by far a better defense.

We played the best D in the country and our D kept us in the game nicely. Our O will only get better and better while our D maintains. It’s the old adage, defense wins championships. We got one.
