It was almost worth playing a frustratingly bad game because it allowed us to more effectively rip their hearts out in the end.

Somebody ask Grok to review and provide a 100 word narrative on this thread.

Peter Buck told me pass rush doesn’t matter. Don’t you know football?

The fact you got this from what I said shows you actually do not know football.

Why does everyone want to see sacks and deep balls, yet complain when the ball gets put at risk and a running QB gashing us?

Our defensive scheme will be rush 4 and collapse pocket. Make QB throw over a collapsing pocket with no easy running lanes to escape to. It is Kirby 101. We could rush 5 and 6 and run stunts, but why?

Yes, asking why we would rush 5 or 6 and run stunts when they don’t matter is definitely not saying pass rush doesn’t matter. Got it.

Looking back through the game without the emotional investment knowing the outcome it makes a few things clear.

Gunner played an amazing game and bobo called a very great game

Our secondary isn’t as bad as it may seems. There were a few blown assignments that need to be cleaned up but often times they were in position and the other wr made a play or they got lucky with a tip.

The guy they waited to put in at RT in the 4th qtr was miles above anyone else there. He needs to be the guy moving forward.

UGA has some very explosive skills position players and probably our best Wr room in a long time.

TE blocking has to get cleaned up.

Tenn only scored 2 times on a drive of more than 5 plays. Our defense I think at least, is actually pretty good, just need to clean a few things up

The defense just needs time to gel.

Stockton won without the help of the right side of the Oline. Pretty big handicap versus UT.

In his first SEC start and first away start. I’m very very impressed with Gunner. That throw to London was magic

I don't think the prior guy makes the first long pass or the 4th down pass. I think Beck has different arm talent but gunner is more accurate.

Gunner is way better at dropping the ball into a “basket” if you will on a long throw with nice high arch. He’s shown himself to be exceptional at this like you said with throw to Colbie to open the game and the throw to London. There’s other more simple plays like quick slants on 3rd downs where he puts it a place or better thrown that is likely easier to catch.

I’ll give beck one thing though if you need a guy to rip a throw at Mach speed over the middle of the field in a tight spot he’s got you covered

23-31, 74%, 304 yds, 2 tds, 0 INTs, 38 rushing, 1 rushing td. I’ll take that all day long
