I am far more pissed off about our fans not standing up with 2 minutes left when we were up by 2, than I am about Mark Fox being our coach. Our crappy fans deserve a worse coach than Fox.

I was in the bleeders so i couldn't see who was sitting but I sure as hell was standing with about 10 minutes left in the 2nd and it seemed like everyone around me was standing at about the 2 minute mark. Maybe the rich folks closer to the floor?

Watching it on TV the Steg looked like it was rocking. Even Vitale mentioned the electric atmosphere and he's seen a big game or two. Yeah we aren't the best college BBall fans on the planet, but you couldn't tell it from that game.

It was a fun atmosphere for sure. The energy between UK fans and UGA fans was cool to see in a basketball venue. You could see we were rattling that fanbase and they were trying to find some way to take over.

I loved in when they started the GBB chant and you could hear the UGA over power them with U-G-A! If we have any semblance of that atmosphere ona consistent basis, it would make such a huge impact on recruiting.

Seems to me the fans have always showed up and showed out when given half a reason to.

They've just been given precious few reasons to.

I disagree... I think too many people party instead of going to the games. I went to a lot of games in school, but I lived 3 minutes from Stegman. They were almost always fun games... people just didn't go. I never got that.

I'm guessing that's it. I wasn't able to watch a ton of the game, but the ones close to the floor were definitely sitting. I know it was pretty loud for the Steg, but that's still a bad look.

Yante is probably out for the regular season according to Fox and 247...

Just tipped off against Bama on ESPN2, it'll be interesting to see our gameplan without Yante.

Pretty sure it's a little strategy called "panic".

It's pass it a lot more, play crazy close defense, sub a lot and get a 12 point halftime lead......that we will blow in the final minutes, per usual

Very happy with the point differential but disgusted with the tried and true "half is winding down so let JJ dribble around near halfcourt til theres 4 seconds left them launch a deep arse 3" play we do so often. I believe this is the first time I've actually seen it result in points for the other team

Painful play at the end. 14 point lead holding for last shot and make a bad decision, don't get a shot up and give the home team who struggles to score a free one and momentum for half time.
