For the life of me I cant understand how a defensive mastermind can’t field a decent first half defense.

We can score half a hundred for all I care. Look how we’ve started against Tennessee and Alabama. And now on the first drive against a team who couldn’t get a first down the entire game last week are now 3 for 3.

I'm glad we make adjustments in the second half (usually), but I don't see how we can't come out with a good defensive game plan with a week of planning.

It’s probably statistically nearly impossible for a team with our record to be scored on so routinely on the first drive.
