The only negative on Hill is high snaps. If it weren't for that he would be a lock for ALL-SEC.

How much do the unit's missed assignments reflect on the center?

but the lack of a more heady guy - a leader at center has hurt the team this season.

Sorry, don't agree with ya here.he's been an asset this season especially since the Bama game. Haven't seen much in the way of A gap short yardage problems or snap issues since then.

Id love for em to come back his senior year.I would think he'd easily be preseason 1st team All SEC

Fewer that you think. Most missed assignments are due to the offensive lineman being slow to his assignment or turning his man the wrong way for the play.

Eh, he doesn’t get a consistent push either and was straight up abused by Bama and USCe when he played the best DT’s in the league.

Hill is very, very good.

But we've had 2+ years of short yardage woes with him at center. For as big as his thighs are, he just cant get the pad level right to knock guys off the ball after the snap. The strongest thing about him is his hands (and his ability to turn a defenders shoulders). That would he a much more valuable skillset at guard in short yardage situations.

Looks like we're about to find out what Matt Luke can do with raw talent.

Erriccson has played a decent amount and did well at guard in the bowl game against Baylor. I wouldn’t be worried at all if he’s plugged in.
