They blitz regularly anyways but their D-line is probably the best unit on their team.

I know, but they don't have even 1 returning starter on that unit. I suspect that means they're closer to FSU circa last week than Clemson circa 2018 - especially considering they don't have any significant transfers.

I also suspect that offense is going to be horrendous.

Capehart

Clemson fans have been very critical about Kirby's supposed lack of discipline for not suspending every player with a moving violation. At the same time they've been really quiet about the fact that DeMonte Capehart was stopped in Febuary for "failure to exercise due care while operating a motor vehicle,” which was described as "spinning his tires and accelerating at a high rate of speed in a 25 miles per hour zone".

During the course of the traffic stop they found multiple open alcohol containers and a rifle and ammunition in the car. He was arrested on the traffic charge and illegal possession of a firearm on school property. He was released on 10,000 bond. No mention of a sobriety test result.

Capehart was briefly suspended from the team, and then reinstated three weeks later when all charges, including the felony gun charge, were expunged through a pretrial intervention program for first-time offenders charged with nonviolent crimes.

Only Key to the game for UGA. Make Cade KlubPick panic and he’s a TO machine. They’ll try and run Mafa 30 times but they’re gonna be limited at what they can do to us. They’re not built that way. They’re also starting a 1st time C against us lol. Recipe for disaster.

I want to share this with a broader audience. Do you have a link?

The details were cobbled together from several articles. Unlike Georgia football reporting, you have to really dig to find all the relevant details. In the last article below, they reference another Clemson player arrested for reckless driving/MVA a couple of weeks after Capehart. A passenger in the other car ended up in the hospital. A relevant point from both of those incidents was if it hadn't been for the exacerbating details (felony gun and MVA), they'd most likely have gone unreported.

But, if you put this on the Rant, you're just asking for abuse.

For the articles on thestate.com, I used Internet Explorer mode (which I have really dumbed down with no Javascript, redirects, etc.) of Microsoft Edge to get past their paywall.

Liability from what? The charges against Etienne were dropped and, to my knowledge, nobody was hurt and no property was damaged. What does Etienne’s incident have anything to do with pending lawsuits from a completely separate incident?

All the charges weren't dropped. The DUI was dropped when took a plea deal for Reckless Driving and one other charge and was sentenced to community service and probation. Big difference between that and having all charges dropped.

Given that Reckless Driving was a factor in getting 2 people killed, it's not hard to fault the administration for thinking there needed to be some form of punishment.

Branson is full go.

Etienne remains a question mark, although it would be a shame if he couldn't play against the program where his brother played.

Don't be surprised to see Frazier with some touches.
He is simply too good not to be in the mix.
