and he must go down hard. Trask is immobile. Bring the big rush. Our missing secondary players scare me badly.

Jordan Davis and his pressure up the middle was insanely impactful last year. We need to have an inside rush again this year.
Azeez and our outside guys will do their thing.

Considering our putrid offense and the loses on defense, if Kirby pulls out a win in this game, it might well be the best coaching effort of his career.

Have to be 100% aggressive on D. It’s all we got going into this. Wreak havoc

Not really...you are underestimating the overall talent on both sides of the ball.

JD is the man, but I am excited to see what Jalen Carter can do.
I feel much better about the defensive line than I do about two dinged up safeties.

We generally replace stars with future stars. That is the beauty of recruiting at our level.

I'll take Carter, Smith, Aziz, AA, and Walker against that O-Line.
At least 3 sacks Saturday.

Agreed. This would be Kirby’s biggest W given the circumstances.

I hope you are correct but we will find out soon enough. But only scoring 2 TDs against Kentucky and watching the Cats roll up consistent rushing yardage against our hurting defense didn't exactly inspire confidence.

Our D should be able to handle flarda. Bennett has to control his turnovers. 5 interceptions in two games. It has to be in his head. If he can settle down and let the RBs punish their run D, it will open up some easy passes, hopefully.

Adam Anderson needs to play a lot vs UF. He needs to be on the field all second and third downs...dude can straight up have a Jarvis Jones type day if they keep him on the field.

Kentucky had 138 yards rushing. 3.5 ypc. What game were you watching?

That 14.5 hour drive that they had in the second (?) quarter skewed the perception of their success running the ball. That was painful to watch and put a SERIOUS damper on the game....and kept our offense, as in inept as it is, off the field, preventing our maybe getting into some sort of rhythm. They did not have a lot of success running the ball but that year and a half they held the ball on one possession was ugly for us and a masterpiece for them.

It also allowed them to run the clock out on themselves.
Prefer our onto do it but when they don't score, it's really the same either way. Didn't look like we stunted much to stop the run, just played straight d.

Masterpiece of a field goal, huh?
Which is worse? An explosive play by Bama or a struggling drive by Kentucky? I think we have a different definition of masterpiece.

In todays CFB a drive like the one Kentucky put together is a rarity compared to an explosive play.....had it resulted in a TD instead of a FG it would have been old school football perfection....devil his due and all...
