I am starting to wonder if a few of these guys just didn’t find the portal interest from other teams that they thought they would. I can’t believe that Purdue was Nyland’s first choice, and Mews has been hanging out there in the breeze since just about the first day…and I don’t think it’s because he’s waiting on a playoff team to finish the season.

That could be part of it. Just both in general have put a bad taste in my mouth. I think kids should have to stay at a school 2 years minimum. They aren't even giving themselves time to develop.

I am actually surprised it has taken this long for him to hit the portal. He clearly got passed by at least two Fr. this season. CJ Smith and Anthony Evans saw the field more than him. Bringing in 2 more transfers this season was probably all he needed to see.
