I'm sure they didn't know. That dude is super fricked though. His career just went down the drain.

Well, to be fair, most college students don't have systemic ethically adverse study methods like some do. I only saw it with one so I can't speak to how widespread it is, but my buddy's fraternity had crazy shite going on.

I don't understand how TKE allowed someone to keep a gun in that house. Like you're living on University property.

2nd Amendment - "shall not be restricted". If it's University property, it's government action, so it would fall squarely under the Second. In theory, at least - as a practical matter, the Bill of Rights doesn't really exist so much.

I'm surprised those thugs were in town this weekend. I was under the impression there was a big ski and date rape outing at Sugar this weekend.

Haha chill. I'm in a fraternity and I'm no thug. There's all kinds of different dudes in fraternities at UGA. You can't make some generalization statement just because of one dumb arse.

I believe it was sarcastic, relative to the same knee jerk reaction people have regarding athletes

My fraternity house sits right next to another house. The second floor hallway of their house looks directly into the second floor hallway of our house. Back when I was in school, one of their guys shot an arrow head high through our hallway and stuck in the concrete on the other end of the hall. Had anybody walked out of their room when, it happened, it would have been a kill shot.

I'm glad I'm not in that Greek Park. I was a Pike but that old house had a sweet location

From what? I could still go to the parties and drink free beer. I just didn't have to pay dues and accidentally have gay sex.

Ugh, those types were worse than the stereotypical frat bros themselves.

Yeah, that was a great spot. Thankfully we own our house on Milledge.

When I was in school, there were a lot more open parties on campus by the frats. Real different than it has been the last 25 years. We were discouraged from joining them, but a number of guys did. Especially the black frats. I never really had issues with individual fraternity members. Sometimes, when they got in groups they had a penchant for oneupmanship that lead to stupid stuff like the original post. I also have no issue with heterosexual men exploring their gay side in the privacy of their own house.

Honestly, after my first couple of years, I rarely went to those parties. I was in grad school when I went to one, though it was A Flock of Seagulls and I wanted to see them.

Downtown is about ten million times better than frat parties these days. Everyone from the parties goes downtown anyways at some point, so it can be a solid pregame.

The great frat parties are the all day affairs like shower cap, lost, and whatever the frick the other ones are. Pretty much everyone goes to those big ones and they are fun as shite, but there aren't that many of them.

Somebody is having a "band party" like every weekend but those aren't all that great unless you are in the fraternity hosting IMO.

Yeah the only real parties we have now are just elongated pregames. Even the band parties are essentially a pregame in my mind.

So any gay sex you had was deliberate? Good bye plausible deniability....
