This is fascinating dude. Read this quote by Mathis’s father....

“Dwan understands the program and the role he has been recruited for, to learn from the current quarterback and not be divisive or cause any problems. He respects the head coach and Coach (Jim) Chaney and he is ready to come in and put his head down and go to work.”

That didn’t just come out of the blue, folks. That sounds like a commentary on what he was told the staff may have dealt with from a certain player recently. Entitlement. Divisiveness. Disrespect toward coaches. Wow

Hmmmmmmmmm

Now that the quote after the USCe game surfaced....which was Sept 8 mind you....this may have been brewing for a while.

I watched one of Fields’ televised hs games last year, the one where Kirby flew in and JF broke his finger. Anyway, there was something about the way he carried himself during the game, a self-involment that just oozed. His early departure shouldn’t have caught anyone by surprise- outside of the timing. Hopefully he can figure things out and humble himself.

Second damn game of season. And it seems like a million years ago, but S Carolina was the trendy pick across the nation to deliver the upset...

And that’s how your freshman backup qb acts immediately afterwards?

The stink vapors are getting more pungent by the hour off of this kid.

If youve noticed, other than the reveal of the usc post game video (that had been buried), the homer uga media has been real quiet on this subject.

I would bet after there’s an official announcement by UGA of parting ways with Little Lord Fontle-Fields....that we’ll get a pretty good avalanche of news on this front exposing who this guy really is. And what went on behind the scenes

Here’s a new hunch I’m getting.

Was there maybe a specific event that happened behind the scenes that kept Fields on bench against LSU? An epic tantrum meltdown or something maybe?

It’s only game he sat on bench entirely.

Maybe Kirby sent message if you’re not happy with scraps you’re getting, we’ll just take them away and see how you like it.

A phone rings later that afternoon.....

-Hello? You’ve reached the law offices of Tom Mars esquire.

-Yes. This Justin Fields mom. We about to get up out of this uga mother fricker. Let me speak to The Transfer Whisperer

Justin Fields is a little b1tch, it's that simple. I'd imagine he's been b1tching and moaning every day since he got to UGA. B1tching to teammates, anyone who would listen. Probably has been a MAJOR distraction in the locker room all year, kudos to Kirby for keeping it quiet.

And in that ridiculous video, remember he's talking to Stokes who hadn't played meaningfully but got an opportunity and seized it.

I know all these kids are "me, me, me" but his one is the worst. Good. mf. riddance.

Litigator, who pays your scumbag greaseball ambulance chaser bro in a case like this?
Here’s his bio and the types of cases he takes LINK

As far as the fee structure it could be set up in a variety of ways but I’m guessing it would be a hybrid arrangement with a flat fee or hourly rate set up and then it would have a contingency fee component to it as well so that in the event of the recovery the attorney would receive a percentage of the settlement/recovery.

Is it legal in Arkansas to tape a conversation without the other persons consent?

Litigator, you should give your old law school pal a call and invite him to coffee to catch up with one another. Then, sneak in a bunch of questions about the Fields case and report back to the GSB with the intel so we can counter-attack

Actually, he sat the entire game against UF, too. If you recall, I posted about his body language on the sideline after the game (and got crucified for pointing it out). The entire game, he kept to himself, seemingly sulking over the situation. Leaving the stadium, I was convinced that he or his family had informed Kirby he was leaving and that was why he got no PT. But then he played the following week, so I figured I was wrong.

Maybe not?

It is provided that one party consents to the taping of the conversation. So if you and I are having a conversation and I tape it without your knowledge then it’s legal because I consented to it. Now if a third party taped the conversation without consent of either party to the conversation then that’s what is illegal. Here’s a good chart containing perhaps more info than you care to know but as noted I’m in a one party state. LINK

I’m going to pass on this for fear of being outed. Have to maintain my anonymity, you know.

If he’s suing to have the 1 year period waive there are no monetary damages.

Could he build in a contingency/percentage of first year NFL contract or some other future payment into something like this?

Looks like he'll work any sector and on any side of the corporate fence if there's bucks to be had.

This guy isn't going to try to help Fields get out of the NCAA transfer rule for small change. Maybe he's angling for building an NFL agent business?

If the race card threat was his idea, I'm going to venture that we're looking at an ethical compass roughly on par with Michael Cohen.

If, as most of you surmise, Fields had a terrible attitude all season to the point that he was poison, why would Kirby take a chance by letting Justin take the snap in the biggest and riskiest play of the season.

I hate all the speculation. My position is that Kirby made a mistake be not giving Fields more latitude and that Fields made a bigger mistake be seeking a transfer.

You're right.

He actually did get one or two snaps against LSU, so it was the Florida game where he rode the bench the whole way for the only time all season.

Smart broke his own rules. He didn’t unrecruit Fields. We was recruiting him all season to stay. Sucks that it went South on Smart, but I bet he learned a lesson he won’t repeat. It’s obviously a distraction at best, but likely a growing cancer.

Chip Towers on the timing of the Fields leak (buried in a signing day article)……..

"The first day of the quiet period for recruiting on Monday was the day and time that Justin Fields and his family chose to reveal to the world his intention to transfer from Georgia. That’s a dastardly move intended to inflict recruiting harm, and had the potential to undo a lot of the good work that had been done to build the 2019 class. "

A storm is brewing folks. The long knives are about to come out...
