I'll take it. Pruitt is a hell of a DB coach, and his track record doesn't really have many blemishes
Nowhere to go but up anyways

Amazing hire! UGA got a great coach if he sticks with us.

Good hire from the right place. We will be fighting more and more with F$U for recruits (again) and he has a solid SEC background, and can recruit lights out.
We good.

For anyone down in the dumps we "only" got pruitt and had to settle since Kirby turned us down...
Rewind in time 2 weeks...if someone had told you after the gator bowl that to open the 2014 season Grantham would be gone and we'd have the hot rising up and comer DC who just won the national title, everyone here would've stone cold stunned their grandma to make that happen.

No Kirby. Our "3" interviewed are Smart, KO, and Wilson... Take from it what you will.
So pruitt got the job without interviewing?

Happy with the hire if it's him.

Pruitt also has a reputation as an outstanding recruiter. He was named “National Recruiter of the Year” by 247Sports.com in 2012.
frick yea I'll take it. Wanted Smart but that was for other reasons. This is a GREAT hire.

Getting $850K
Huh? He made around 700K (with camps, incentives, etc) last year. Why would he leave FSU for UGA for less than 200K more?

Nah it's a really good hire. I wanted Smart for all that came with it from a DC standpoint this is good stuff.
Probably one of the best coordinator hires we may have ever had
