This thread went off the rails into total hilarity.

I love it!

Also, I wouldn’t classify it as may have a problem. Unless players have symptoms….they don’t have to test, even if contact traced. And I believe all our scholarship players have been vaccinated

“May have”, with the operative word being MAY. If the Medicine Director has Covid, a man who literally comes into contact with every player on the team, especially those that are injured, then “may” have a problem seems more likely than not. You may classify it differently, I’m not going to lose sleep as it seems you will?

This. Vaxxed players are only tested if exhibiting symptoms, so hopefully we don't see any. All unvaxed players are non-scholarship and will have one more testing cycle before the game, but shouldn't have any substantial impact on the outcome of this week's game at this point.

Hearing he wasn't in contact with all the players and that all the scholarship players are vaxxed so they don't get tested unless they get sick.

This interpretation is what the writers of several different articles concerning this story basically said. It’s an easy search. I am entitled to an interpretation as well as anyone else who reads an article. I don’t give a shite if it interest you are not.

Dawgsports..…”The potential contact tracing ramifications of this is obviously a big concern.”

DawgNation…”Georgia has a potentially big problem heading into Saturday’s game against Clemson.”

Sports wire…”the impact of his diagnosis could impact the entire team and athletic staff”

A lot of interpretations, pick one or make your own.

Each one of those ignored the protocols UGA/SEC has in place for Vaxd players. And seems like all the unvaxxed are non-scholarship

My source is saying that no players have tested positive as of last night, but some of Courson's staff has.

From what I’ve read vaccinated players are not subject to contact tracing unless they are showing symptoms.

But does anyone have verification of all scholarship players being vaxxed?

You can have that opinion, however I seldom start a thread and it’s never to encourage someone to click on it. As you can see I have a little over 3000 posts in 6 years. I just thought it was a concern for the upcoming game, and I still think it could possibly be an issue, though I’m hoping not.

All I’ve read is that Kirby is saying that the team is 90% vaccinated. Probably won’t get ant more specific than that. If he says all scholarship players are vaccinated then that would basically name non scholarship players.
