Need to get that run defense fixed pronto Kirby
Stop trying to strip the ball and just wrap the hell up.
That first play came when we tried to take the ball and the Tech RB pulled away and bounce outside.

Banks their big LT got hurt vs A&M and will probably be out per my Texas friends

The LT that got blown TF up all night when we played them?

Now we are an underdog. Texas -1.5
This works to our advantage. Kirby should stress that nobody thinks we can win.
I saw that we lose we might draw Indiana. It all depends where the frickoff, er, Playoff Committee ranks us.

Supposed high first rounder. Went to locker room in A&M game and came back out with a boot on. I haven’t seen an official comment yet?

It just occurred to me that we could play Texas 3 times. Imagine us beating them the first time, then a second time, then losing the 3rd time which is the only one that matters. I have the fear.
Hopefully if we win the committee will massage the rankings and brackets so we wouldn’t have to play them again until late if at all. They’re obviously not looking at actual play and SoS when they do these things so maybe they’ll look at match ups. Nobody wants to see us in the same bracket with Texas.

If they're worried about 1 conference possibly dominating the whole thing, then it would reason that they'd seed the SEC so that we cannibalize ourselves as a conference within the same bracket with only 1 emerging.
If they had any fuzz on their peaches, the brackets would be seeded so that all the SEC teams would have to reach the semis/CFP final for rematches.
ETA- an all- SEC semis guaranteeing a SEC CFP champ would be a ratings nightmare for ESPN outside of the South, and kickstart the meetings to expand to 16 with a quickness.

We could wind up playing an 11 game sec schedule when it’s all said and done.

UGA won by 15 last time in spite of three interceptions and a ton of dropped balls. This time Beck will run early and be into the game. Texas doesn't have any chance to win in Atlanta. Saturday will be so much fun.

I figured this committee would manage the rankings to make sure every possible SEC team has to play in the first round. Then send them as far north as possible. That's been their dream for a long time, to make the SEC play in Big 10 home stadiums in frigid conditions.

I hope we beat them by 30 this time.

We should be in red for this one.
Kirby blew it by not taking my advice and going with the black unis for GT. If we had the roof would’ve come off that place and the starters would’ve been resting by the 3rd qtr.
Instead we get uninspired ball and 8 OT’s.

UT posters on the SECR are saying that it was their call to wear white even though they are home team to promote an team against the world sentiment. And the fact they have the nation's longest road winning streak.

Did you actually watch that game?
Texas completely dominated that game. That was a one sided arse beating where the outcome was never in question. Ewers had two boneheaded turnovers inside the A&M 10 (including a pick six) and allowed a blocked punt; otherwise, Texas wins that game by a minimum of 30 points.
If they show up looking like that, I don't think anyone in the country is going to beat them. That was awfully impressive. Worth noting they haven't really looked like that in any other game this season.

Let's not go too deep into the weeds. 1st & goal on the Texas 1, and aTm turns the ball over on downs w/ no points didn't help matters.
Texas was absolutely in control of the game, but A&M's flaccid offense would make the Puppetry of the Penis guys jealous. They couldn't get out of their own way.

17 points and the other teams offense didn’t have much going on. Not sure one can call it a dominant performance. Texas won almost in spite of themselves.
