JT looked marvelous Zues and Cook are going to be the premier backs(we already knew that) Beck looked better then BVG Mitchell looked like a potential Beast,D-line looked really good, O-line looked good at some points little tweaks here and there, Bowers showed promise the kid that showed most promise was Mitchell

So what’s our ideal situation on timing these QB’s? I’d love to see BVG redshirt next year because frankly he shouldn’t play given our QB room.
But in 2022 we’ll have him and Beck vying for the starting role. If Beck edges him out due to experience would he stick around as a RS freshman? Is he good enough to win the job outright?

I don’t see Beck ever taking a snap as starter at UGA. The new transfer rule runs in two directions and his real competition is whichever QB Kirby gets to transfers here next

One thing is for sure, Beck and Vandergriff won't be on the same roster for more than a year. One of them will go. Especially with Gunner Stockton coming in, and whoever will be coming in behind and/or on top of that.
It's a good problem to have.
I love the new transfer rules, it lets the rich get richer. Teams like UGA can hoard 5*s and after a year or two if they don't rise like cream to the top, they can transfer. Recruits don't have to worry about whether or not their position is too stacked at a big school.
NCAA is so dumb, but their stupidity is helping schools like UGA and other powerhouses so who am i to complain?

Six years ago, Grayson Lambert transferred in to compete with J Park, Faton Bauta, and a punter. And won.
Kirbs arrived and we saw the rise and fall of Eason, and the rise and fall of Fromm, and then Fields left because of vicious institutional racism.
Last year, some wake forest transfer quit, and 12 year veteran Stet took over before the rise of JT
And now JT is being chased by a Metallica roadie, whoever awaits in the portal, and eventually by a dude with the perfect name Gunner.
The road goes on forever, and the party never ends
