You're responding to the wrong person but I agree with ya about Daniels starting vs UF unless Bennett completely flops vs UK and gets yanked

Kirby is quickly losing me with his bullshite roster management. Love the guy, but come the frick on.

I refuse to believe JT isn't healthy. He was cleared by doctors what, a month ago? There have been no setbacks reported. We know he's practicing and getting reps in. We have reports from insiders that he looks sharp throwing the ball. He had his surgery 13 months ago. If you believe Kirby, despite the fact I can't find anything confirming it, he had a minor procedure to clean up something from the initial surgery last December. 13 months to play on a repaired ACL is an eternity these days.

Kirby needs to shut his fricking mouth trying to sell us fans on Stetson fricking Bennett. It's a pointless argument. We all saw what happened last weekend. If he wants to take the heat off of Stetson, then he needs to tell us why the hell the 5* transfer isn't getting any snaps. If he has a good reason, we'll all support Stetson. If he doesn't, he can go frick himself for all I care.

I went on my week long bitch session about all of my frustrations, but I still believe Stetson can QB well enough to win big games.

Yes, his margin of error is small, but it's quite possible. Even against Bama, 0 - 1 turnover and one or two better placed balls and Georgia wins.

Ideally we'd have been playing more than just him to more quickly develop more guys so we have the option of seeing where everyone's potential would lead thus making a more informed decision. However, this season no longer affords that option - at least not before the Florida game.

I'm rooting for him to eliminate mistakes and get just a little more on target - a foot here or there. Hopefully that's enough.

Yes, a clean-up....not a full-on ACL replacement.

Jaylen Waddle being injured is more of a help than Stetson somehow playing a perfect game against Bama.

Go watch Daniels' USC "highlights."

JT couldn't move even when he was healthy. JT wasn't an accurate passer. JT might be our worst option at QB. That's the way it looks to me.

Not every QB who comes out of Mater Dei is great but they all get 5 stars.

If it means you'll stop trolling the board then no, there's no reason to keep watching.

But I'll continue to watch my Dawgs win and hope they can fix things when they play Bama again.

Kirby starting Stetson this week means he's our starter for the rest of the year.

Well that's simply not true at all

Is Stetson's broken finger from the Barn game all healed?

It was his freshman season, but that's absolutely true - well most of it.

He can move. Not as well as anyone else on the roster, but he's not a statue, and he has a better arm than Stetson.

That's why I was so adamant about getting Mathis some time. He has a + arm and excellent mobility. I'd just like to see what he looks like settled down with more command of the offense.

Right now, though, it's Stetson unless he falls on his face. Nobody wants to see that, and this week is very much the wrong time to be changing QBs.

Assuming JT is Healthy and has a higher ceiling, Smart should play him so we actually have a chance against BAMA.

Assuming JT is healthy is rash. What facts do you have that Daniels is healthy enough to play a game against mid-season competition? Being cleared to practice is vastly different from being cleared to play against a strong defense.
Post some quotes from the Georgia coaching staff to show us Daniels is in playing condition.

None that were reported but there are pictures of him in a knee brace after he was cleared so there may have been a set back that we don't know about.

Let me just go ahead and predict the rest of the season. This week we'll win and Stetson will play well and everyone will be like "well now, THAT'S more like it, we're going to be playoff baby!"

Then we play Florida and win a close one and everyone's going to be like "Guys, I really think this is THE year, Stetson has gone from walk-on to HERO!"

and then....

We will play Bama in the dome and the EXACT SAME OUTCOME will occur that happened in Tuscaloosa. We'll hang in there for a while until their offensive talent inevitably goes for a big play, they then capture momentum and cruise to a stress-free 4th quarter win.

The defense played well in Tuscaloosa. They really did, they held them to a few field goals and basically stopped Najee Harris all night.

Nick Saban is right, an elite defense can only do so much you. Explosive offense and play-making QB wins championships.

My question earlier was rhetorical. Of course I'm watching the Dawgs but when you already know how the movie ends it's a let down.

You seem to not comprehend that Stetson is saving our arse. He is the best option until he isnt, most people know that and support him because that's the situation.

A. Your wit is incredible.

B. It's not unreasonable to expect the HC of a powerhouse program like UGA to not treat fans like fricking idiots. There are a million and one reasons to hide the health of a player, and not a single one fits our situation right now. Again, quit selling me on 4th year walk-on Stetson Bennett and instead tell me why the 5* transfer is still riding the pine. If it's because he's still not healthy, then there's no better endorsement of Stetson that can be said. If it's simply evaluation based on practice, I seriously question Kirby's ability to evaluate QB talent (like Fromm over Fields).
