We are way more explosive with JT. Go back and rewatch games from last year and then this year and it’s obvious.

Stet is great and all but it’s clear our offense runs far better under JT and Monken opens up the playbook more with JT in. Stet can wins us a NY6 game but JT will win us a natty

I think we can win with either one of them

I think that's the problem I'm having. I remember Stetson from last year so I don't think he belongs as QB1 at the end of the day. But maybe that isn't fair. If I were judging him on this year's performance alone, I may have a different perspective altogether. Hard to say for sure.

I’ve noticed JT does a better job anticipating his throws (and they have more pepper). Sometimes Stet is just a tiny bit late releasing the throw and not trusting as much that a receiver is going to come out of his break.

We’ll play the best QB we have available for each game. Right now that’s Bennett because JT is still hurt and the staff knows better than we do who’s ready to go. It’s that simple.

We have to accept the fact that I may take a bit to get JT back to game speed after being out for a while. When he gets back in is anyone’s guess.

9/10 we would be happy with a 10-2 season and shot at playoffs. Stetson is that qb. I think with this D we have a real shot at going all the way, and JT is the qb to make that happen. We need that flick and zip and vision. Stet is a great athlete but dealt a bad genetic hand. We should be really happy with him as our backup and pounding teams, but come Bama and some others, jt is the way

What people here don’t seem to get is that if we didn’t have Bennett we’d have had to play Beck and he’s not ready. Today doesn’t go our way with Beck at QB in that environment.

We'll say, "Good thing we have a backup with a shitload of experience and really good thing we have the top defense in the country so it doesn't matter as much that we're not playing with an elite QB."

Is JT the actual better QB though? Does Kirby think he is better than Stetson for what we want to do on offense when our defense is hell on wheels? Or is Stetson better suited for the the way they run things? Questions are bountiful. I’m not sure what the answers are. I know it’s fun beating the shite out of everyone though.

Stetson played great today. No weird ints and sold the playaction like a boss. Proud of him

Today, the backups feasted in all the marquee matchups: our game, Red River Shootout, and Bama-A&M

Stetson has changed his launch angle and is great at moving around for a passing lane.

I love the kid. JT must be hurt worse than people are leading on.

Whoever downvoted this should dunk their head in the toilet and flush.

Barners are not good, not bad but very mid. LSU is a mess and they made a name off that win.

Stet is a good QB, but JT is the master controller of this offense. The pass pro seems really solid this season. You want a guy like JT slicing up DBs with the extra time given.

We haven't played a top-flight team yet. Closest we've come honestly might be clemsons defense (yeah their offense is arse but their defense was healthy and they are a legit bunch).

At some point, we're gonna get punched hard and Stetson isn't our best option to pull us out of that situation

JT will be a starter in the NFL and Stetson won’t. It’s not a difficult choice when both are healthy. If JT hadn’t been injured, he’d be talked about a lot more and would be in the running for the heisman.

The TV didn’t do that angle route throw for the TD to #5 justice …. that was a big time throw.

JT may make the NFL we just dont know, Stetson likely ends up our head coach when kirby retires in 20 years.

I agree. Which is why JT is healing right now instead of playing hurt. I think we can handle Kentucky with Stetson in and JT will be ready for Florida and the rest of the season. (hopefully)
