Exactly. Kirby created the situation. It’s stunningly bad judgement or willful negligence. Either way he is a goddamn moron.

Trust me. I understand struggling and working hard to accomplish things.

I honestly think we have better options than Dan Jackson and Stetson. I disagree that Bama’s O line had a great game. It was on Kirby and Lanning. They did not dial up good blitz packages. They stubbornly thought we could get pressure with our front 7 by doing nothing differently. Auburn gave them the blueprint. Again, too damn stubborn to make changes.

Sure, but beat them, own them, break them, reap the recruiting nectar of that sweet sweet victory and find yourself beating them again next year in Atlanta.

Let’s wait and see before we crown him Mark Richt 2.0. Michigan is in three weeks.

Dawgs played worse than they have all season, and many of those errors were wholly unforced in nature...just us fricking up left and right.

But how in the world did they lay an egg in a game like this? We had
2 cupcakes while Bama had 2 physical games and last week was obviously an emotional rivalry that went into OT yet Bama looked like the team that was rested and far more focused. And getting his team focused is one of Kirby's biggest strengths as HC.

Just amazes me how well Bama played and how well they shored up
their OL issues in just a week (3 practice days)

Maybe last night was a wake up call.Just glad we might get another shot.

Why do yall keep bringing up Field’s? He had his shot against Bama with a better offense and got his stool pushed in. On the other hand, Auburn would have beaten them with a 2nd string QB with a bum foot if their RB had stayed in bounds…. Last week.

I’m starting to learn that people who don’t take the time to learn football react to the emotional easy blame, so it deflects the pain of losing. We need to be better than this as a fanbase.

With you on fields. With you on the bizzarre improvement. They say Saban brought his old Oline coach in to fix things...

Ok, so we have Kirby executed. Who do you bring in for the playoffs/next year? And you do realize that the US Postal System would collapse under the weight of all the thank-you notes that every other school in the SEC would send us for getting rid of him, right?

The moron is strong in him. Eason sucked and Fields wasnt ready. Newman was a moron, Mathis sucked bad, JT is made of glass, Beck sucks, BVG played at rich kid prep school, bennett made the Offense go from the moment he went in the arkansas game kast year and saved our arse.

The problem is, if all of the above is true, why are we recruiting these kids? Does Bama have the same issues?

Bama has had 2 of the greatest offensive minds in all of football with kiffin and sark and now they have an oncoordinator who was penn states hc and an nfl hc, even with all that skill, they have been lucky for shite to pan out.

I think having 5 wrs as good as pickens over the last 6 seasons has also helped.

t is cool to make the playoffs, and I do think we are one of the four best teams this season.

What teams do you think are better than us?

Coaches should play the best players on their roster. They shouldn’t play guys that have heart but are far less talented.

How do they determine who is best? What factors go into the decision?

Is it recruiting ranking? Health? How they do in practice? Grasp of the playbook? Leadership skills?

This is an honest question. What should the coach base his decision on?

quote:

Fromm wasn’t better than Eason or Fields.
Do you mean overall, or in 2018? How was Eason better than Fromm? The only way I see is by statistics. What did Fields accomplish at Ohio State, that Fromm did not accomplish here at Georgia?

quote:

He is stubborn as hell and refuses to make adjustments
Here is where I do not ask you honest questions but tell you what I have observed.

He has brought in a different OC. he has allowed that OC to change the offense. At halftime at the SECCG we began to rush more players and got more pressure on Young. So I am not sure where you are getting this opinion from.

I get it. We got beat....badly. It was embarrassing, especially if you were acting like an arrogant fan and running your mouth before the game. (Not saying you were, but we had some that was.)
I think you are way overreacting to the loss.

However, I am curious about your answer to my questions, and hope you answer them so we can discuss it logically and, hopefully, without trash talk.

Well I agree on that point: Secretly, if Kirby doesn't hate the fact that he's relying on an undersized, mediocre QB with virtually no interest from the NFL, while some other teams (Alabama...even Cincinnati for chris sake!) are starting projected 1st rounders at QB, than he would have to be a moron.

He might be stubborn, he might not be as sharp as Saban, but he's not a moron.

Tell us, is it Stet's fault that he gave up 31 pts in 18 mins? Oh wait. Maybe its the fact that he can't recall a ball after it was thrown and bowers stopped mid-route while it was in the air?

Bingo. L&H thinks he's clever with his critique that all of those aforementined QB's supposedly suck...except for Bennett. But if true, this would indicate that Kirby Smart is a truly atrocious judge of QB talent and potential! Lol

They absolutely do. They have had a ton of QBs and RBs transfer out because they did not play often and early.

Alvin Kamara, Tennpenny, Kendall Sheffiels, Adonis Thomas, Shawn Burgess-Becker, Jalen Hurts, BJ Emmons, Eyabi Anoma, Blake Barnett, Dallas Warmack....we can go on and on. Some of these guys were rated high, but never had the big talent. Some of them were very good but just weren't ready at the time and didn't want to wait. They had other guys that signed, waited their turn and won Heisman. Derrick Henry did not start until he was a Junior.

What do y'all think Alabama would be like if Saban started players based on their rankings and not based on if they are ready or if they were good?

Saban does not start people because he is scared they might transfer. he starts them because they buy into his system, they prove themselves in practice and they show they have the talent.

He does not allow fans or the media dictate who they want to see on the field, based on a recruiting ranking.
