It is cool to make the playoffs, and I do think we are one of the four best teams this season.
I am truthfully not convinced that Alabama is better than UGA. I saw way too many Alabama games to convince me they are something special. We lost yesterday because of coaching, plain and simple. Kirby Smart can recruit as good as Nick Saban, but he isn’t half as good a coach.
Coaches should play the best players on their roster. They shouldn’t play guys that have heart but are far less talented.
Kirby has completely screwed up the QB position since he has been at UGA. Fromm wasn’t better than Eason or Fields. Bennet isn’t better than Daniels. We may beat Michigan, but Kirby doesn’t have it In him to beat Saban. He says your either either Elite or your not, right? He needs to figure out how to take the next step. At this point, it is quite unlikely.
He is stubborn as hell and refuses to make adjustments. I don’t think we can even beat Michigan with his poor game planning and lack of adjustments. He had Charleston Southern and Georgia Tech before BAMA. They had two real teams to play and still came in much more prepared than we were.
I don’t think he wants any part of a rematch.

The moron is strong in him. Eason sucked and Fields wasnt ready. Newman was a moron, Mathis sucked bad, JT is made of glass, Beck sucks, BVG played at rich kid prep school, bennett made the Offense go from the moment he went in the arkansas game kast year and saved our arse.

JT may be made of glass, but he’s the best qb on the team. It’s pretty obvious but y’all are refusing to acknowledge it either due to love of stet or love of not wanting Kirby to be wrong about this. JT should be playing and everyone in the country knows it, Saban would have him on the field

He literally messed up with Fields. It’s stupid to think he’s perfect. JT is the better qb, barring some behind the scenes stuff, Kirby is screwing this up again.

Meh....no doubt last night was trash, but let's not overreact to a single game, either.
Bama's defense didn't really impress. Will Anderson didn't get a sack until 4th quarter. The picks they got were poorly thrown balls. They were interfering with receivers left and right. The only thing they did well was confuse Stet at times.
The offense? Unreal. Bryce Young is good. 400 yards against UGA good? Nah, not a chance he can play like that with any sort of consistency. Their offensive line played their best game of the season by like, a lot. Then you look at our defense and we blew coverages left and right, left guys wide open, didn't scheme correctly, couldn't get home for sacks or pressures until the game was basically out of hand.
If you believe the Bryce Young we saw last night is just who Bryce Young is, well, you might as well go ahead and get his NFL HOF jacket ready.
Bama played a virtually flawless game and received season best performances from several players. Dawgs played worse than they have all season, and many of those errors were wholly unforced in nature...just us fricking up left and right.
If we play them again, there's no way it will go worse than last night.

Fields wasnt ready, we would have trashed that season to play him over fromm.
He couldnt handle competition so he left.
Kirby is a coach, he did what all other coaches would do.
Day and Meyer lost Burrow and thats a bigger loss than fields.

People get hung up on the fact that Stetson is a former walk-on, but he has been an objectively good quarterback this year. It's fair to say Stetson isn't going to carry us past Alabama when we need 40+ points and criticize Kirby's QB recruitment/development, but the QB play itself is not the reason we lost last night.
I was on the start JT bandwagon last month, but I have massive doubts that he would've made a difference under the circumstances last night.

The funny thing is that no one who has ever actually accomplished anything in life through hard work or perseverance could ever react to 1 loss the way some are reacting. If they had, they’d know it doesn’t come without struggle, failure, and getting your arse kicked at times. I read ever one of these type of OP posts and it screams loser. Not in a way to e-insult someone. I honestly think, yikes, another loser that’s never risked anything ever

Reporter at CBS followed the game very close. He mentioned Kirby and JT talking several times yesterday. Kirby commented that he had all the faith in his teams ability to come back with JT but chose to let it go. He knew he was in the playoffs and allegedly didn’t wanna hear about “the decision” for the whole month. Salle believes Kirby will play JT in the CFP.

I sit back in read what y’all put in these threads all year long. One minute 90% of you are bitchin how sorry one player, coach or another is. Then the next game or few games your licking their balls. Then it’s back to bitchin, crying, stomping your feet, back and forth,back and forth y’all go. He set himself and the program back significantly yesterday. There was an opportunity to close the door on Bama and Saban and he couldn’t do it. We could have inched ahead of Bama and consolidated our position at the top. Instead we’re headed towards permanent second tier status unless we win out. Obviously that isn’t going to happen due to Saban’s ownership of Kirby’s skull pudding.

We’re saying that we have a more capable quarterback on the team sitting on the bench while Bennett struggled. And we have no option or plan B because Daniels has got zero game experience due to not putting him in. When he did let him play he threw to the 2’s and 3’s. He wasn’t even allowed to throw the ball against tech. It’s not an anti Bennett sentiment, it’s just that these pick 6 balls have been thrown by Bennett a lot this season that just weren’t picked. Not having a back up qb ready to go if Bennett does have a rough game is someone’s fault.
