I guess it depends on who the "we" is. The offensive strategy and play calling in that game was fairly pathetic. The fact that our vaunted offensive line could "impose our will" was somewhat pathetic, too.

You guys and girls complaining need to relax. Let November play out and that will determine if we as fans should panic.

Even if you go down like the Titanic, it ain't wise to panic.

The health of the Oline is the key. I know Kindley and Wilson couldn't have been at 100 percent but was cleared to play. Nobody heals that dam fast. Kirby summed it up when he said he was going to use the next 2 weeks to get everyone healthy. We go into Jax healthy, we win by 17. Pound early and often, this game will be decided before the half. frick a quick strike offense.

I also remember our defense was rarely all that great. Or was that Goff?

Both. Goff tried to outscore everybody with Zeier and an 'air raid' offense, but the defense was rarely good. Donnan had a decent offense, but went thru defensive coordinators like a roll of Life-Savers.

Our entire football program has been mismanaged versus our peers, almost all of whom have way lessor resources than we do, for decades.

Excuse those of us who are impatient with the process.

That said, I fully support Kirby just wish he would recognize that more experienced people than he, need to run the offense and offer him in game solutions while he puts it all together.

Almost all of out peers out spent us on facilities and support until Kirby arrived.

I guess you could call that mismanagement and we certainly were mismanaged when Adams and Leebern had their yes men in charge during most of the Richt era.Thank God both those parasites are gone.

They out spent us because they had to, just like Texas A&M is doing now.

We just needed the right coach and an administration to get out of the way.

They out spent us because they weren't tightwads.

We were last to get an IPF and the last of the big 6 to get support staff for our HC and our other facilities lagged way behind other schools

Just glad all that stuff is in the past and Kirby has everything he needs to be successful.

Agree, if we could do the same for baseball and basketball, that would be great.

Possibly with the exception of a genuinely great OC...who if available would not come cheap (and would not want to come at all if Kirby won't get the frick out of the way).

I was referring to purse strings, facilities, etc

I have no doubt we'll pay whoever and whatever it takes to get a new OC if thats what Kirby chooses to do

Ok... don’t know what this means and why you’re melting about it. What happens if we get the player ranked one spot behind him from Nevada?

He only waited this long to see how this team would use the TE. If the position were utilized he may be committed already.

Still have Washington and Theo on the board, though. Not the end of the world.
