In my line of work it’s very easy to do. Except in this case it was a friend who was too dumb to go to GT and choose another team. Go figure.

Why if you don't mind me asking. I know we sometimes think newer is better, with the exception of Daniels, Beck, Vandergriff, and Mathis haven't done anything on the field to show who is better. They all have great talent. So to me I'm not gonna write anybody off as of yet.

I also think it’s likely that beck and Mathis transfer before all is done.
Beck emerged as a junior but then had a very poor senior season. He could likely become a serviceable starter at some point, but lacks the overall talent of Newman, Daniels, Vandagriff.
Mathis was a project from the start and by misfortune hasn’t been able to play or practice fully. He is way behind the others based on that development.

Beck had a poor start to the season. From what I read, the offense was good by seasons end. It sounds like the offense had a new cast of OL and WRs which struggled to be effective early on.

That was my understand he had a great junior year, won a state title, but his senior did go so great with a poor offensive line. I thought he would be good for us, but apparently alot of people are thinking otherwise and just writing him off.

I think people did what fans do. When it looked like he might start this season, people thought he was great and his senior season wasn’t indicative of his talent. Now we have two other good QBs on the roster, he’s being somewhat written off.
But it’s wayyyyyyyyyy too early to tell. The kid hasn’t even participated in summer drills. Lets give him a little bit of time first.

The QB battle just got interesting. Mathis is fully cleared for game action after undergoing an MRI. I trust the coaching staff will play the best player who give us the best chance to dominate games. Somebody is going to transfer.
