I've seen that exact same play hundreds of times w/out a flag being dropped.

That's my issue. Either call it all the time or never call it. Especially in the biggest game of the year.

I’d like to see a slo mo of Will Anderson and the snaps he jumped on. No way that guy wasn’t offsides. Needed to vary the count to get him.

I couldn't believe the fumble call on Stetson because his arm was moving forward.

I agree. Basic physics should have reversed the fumble call.

What force loosened the ball from stetson's hand?

Look closely.
Was it the hit?
No.
Tackle attempt?
No.
Gravity (slipped out)?
No.
Did stetson just let go?
No.
It was stetson's arm moving forward.
Obejct in motion tends to stay in motion. Object at rest tends to stay at rest.
Stetson's forward motion of his throw is when ball control is lost.

In the nfl, the words that the announcers and refs use is throwing motion. It isnt a fumble because the arm is going forward in a throwing motion. As was stetsons.
It was factually not dislodged before the throw forward (as the throw forward is what dislodged it).

Also, if Stet’s arm was not moving forward, how did the ball magically move forward?

Don't know where to start.

Are you actually trying to tell me Bama didn't push off on their TD pass?

AD Mitchell wasn't interfered with on the long TD pass?

Anderson wasn't offside multiple times?

Peter Osborne was spot on.You guys are worse than cops when it comes to covering each other's arse.

D end was offsides on Stetson's "fumble".

Young should have at least been called for grounding if his fumble wasn't a fumble.

Dan Jackson got blindsided on the pick 6 when the play was practically over. Should have been a PF.

He had a running back standing right there so this wouldn't have happened. I can easily see he was just trying to toss it at his feet.

It was the lack of ANY holding calls (other than the runback) that gets me.

I think they let them play for the most part which is ok as long as both teams get that opportunity. They really only called the very blatant PI. There were certainly some solid OFFENSIVE PI pushoffs they let slide.

The intentional grounding on the flea flicker was the most egregious. The receiver broke off his route. No one would have called that.

They were ACC refs.
