So..... can get back to (il)logically predicting how this new OC hire will turn out? Chaney had a productive year at Pitt this year will less talent, although lesser competition. Would y'all take an 8-4 first year for CKS?

8-4 would be a failure, 9-3 I could live with

I think 8-4 is very doable next year. Loses to UT, Ole Miss, Florida, and Auburn

Which would make next year worse than this year AND we still get skull-drug by everyone with a pulse, Lew. I really think that unless we are stuck with Lambert at QB next season, anything less than 9-3 is no good.

I'm giving Smart the benefit of the doubt. He doesn't have 15 years experience as a head coach. This isn't his team yet.

I see what you are saying, Lew. I guess I just figured that we shouldn't be any LESS talented than we are now...unless the OL is worse due to the youth/inexperience factor.

8-4 is my bare minimum for to believe the season was a success. The talent is definitely there I just don't know if Kirby can change the culture that quickly. I'm excited to see what he can produce though.

We better be able to beat Tennessee and we get Auburn at home. Florida is a crap shoot. But we best not overlook UNC early in the season. I see a 9-10 win season as being absolutely doable with potential losses to UNC and Ole Miss and one other (take your pick). As bad as our offense was this year, it was Schotty's first year and we were still able to get 9 (possibly 10) wins. Get better on the O-Line with new coach, get Chubb back, and more experienced on D. No reason not to be optimistic.

You do realize most of the class Ole Miss allegedly bought is leaving this year. Other than a QB what do they bring to the table that concerns you?

Don't know if I was per say "concerned." IMO playing in Oxford won't be easy. What other insight can you provide us about Ole Miss?

Chef how tall are you? Because 180lbs at 5'3" isn't exactly what you would call "fit" just curious?

When do we start this story writing venture?

Lew, please don't predict a loss to Auburn

I would have loved to but I got married awhile back and 180 lbs at 6'1" is a little to athletic for me. I like a man with a little more size. When you hit 215 -220, I may consider leaving my wife.
