Where's the Ole Miss law grad when you need him?

Don't know who those "disciples" are, but after watching Easton's highlight tape I hope we have some receivers with hands like theirs. Those boys can catch!

While it is an uninspiring hire, I think it was a safe hire. CKS knew if he swung for the fences and missed on an up-and-comer that he'd be criticized for not going with experience. Regardless, we were all going to scrutinize the OC hire and examine it with a fine toothed comb. We will have talent and hopefully this will help overcome any deficiencies we may or may not have at the OC spot. Feed Chubb and get monsters in the trenches on both sides.

Even more alarming is why you have to ask that question and that why it is not obvious...

Don't know if I was per say "concerned." IMO playing in Oxford won't be easy. What other insight can you provide us about Ole Miss?

We better be able to beat Tennessee and we get Auburn at home. Florida is a crap shoot. But we best not overlook UNC early in the season. I see a 9-10 win season as being absolutely doable with potential losses to UNC and Ole Miss and one other (take your pick). As bad as our offense was this year, it was Schotty's first year and we were still able to get 9 (possibly 10) wins. Get better on the O-Line with new coach, get Chubb back, and more experienced on D. No reason not to be optimistic.

So..... can get back to (il)logically predicting how this new OC hire will turn out? Chaney had a productive year at Pitt this year will less talent, although lesser competition. Would y'all take an 8-4 first year for CKS?
re: UGA fans: Closer look at your new OC

Well when you have Bielema shite like that was allowed to happen. CKS aint going to let Chaney run loose like Bielema allowed him to do. CKS is about to have absolute monsters in the trenches on both sides of the ball, that's where the war is won.

He's in a friggin' cut off tee at the bar? Calling photo shop on the picture, but guarantee it actually happened.

Give me one good reason why a good quarterback would not want to start in the SEC. Can't think of one. I understand you need to see who the OC is, but jumping the gun helps no one. CKS will make a call, or has made a call, telling him to hang in there. May be my downfall, but I'm all in on CKS and believe he'll make the right hire. :uga:

Don't get me wrong, the kid can play QB. Without him we will find another quarter back. There is no one on roster, or coming in for that matter, to compete with. Any good QB should be chompin' at the bit to come to UGA.

Helton seems to run a lot of shotgun with one and two back sets. Obviously with Chubb and Michel it doesn't really matter, because they can catch. But wonder if Helton would adjust a little and run more from underneath center while Chubb is still in the backfield.
re: Does anyone get a bad feeling about this hire?
Posted by NOLADawg17 on 12/1/15 at 9:58 pm
No. The talent UGA will bring in, alone, will carry us through any first time head coach bumps. Big question now is who they bring in at OC. Hopefully hear something soon.
