I thought last year that CMR and the AD said they weren't going to announce any suspensions going forward, am I just remembering it wrong?

It's my personal theory that the more transparent CMR, McGarrity & Adams are with the suspension process, it makes other SEC teams even more likely to sweep shite under the rug.

I just posted the same thing at the end of last page. They were suppose to stay mum on any potential suspensions and team rules violations.

No problem with this. Gotta have discipline. He fricked up and admitted it. There's a price to pay and he's paying it. He'd made the choice to smoke, Coach is making the choice to sit him.

I just gotta agree to disagree. This isn't big enough to merit a suspension and there are other ways of counseling JHC without hurting the team. This isn't the HS team from Facing the Giants. I've also never claimed to have moral priorities, I just think there are better ways to teach young men in such pivotal situations when the crime is meh at best.

oh, an braves win.

Last year, McGarity said they would fire anyone who let the cat out of the bag.

So, you're saying......fire Mark Richt? Well, if that's protocol who are we to deny it?

I wish there was some sort of disciplinary consistency across all of D1 college football. For example, all players get tested X times per year at random. If you get caught, you are suspended for X games.

I just hate that our team is always behind the 8 ball for some moral charade that nobody buys into anyway.

Just a little FYI, most college football players know when the drug test are coming, including UGA players. If they fail a test it's because they underestimated how much THC they have in their system, or they just don't give a shite.

I agree with your post though. Not that it would change this situation, atleast leave campus to smoke.

I swear I think Richt does this as an insurance policy for choking in these big games sometimes . Moral victories do matter to some people

Winner winner...Just make the rules the same for all & I'll never bitch again.

I understand team rules are rules & need to be enforced or your discipline will break down if they're not. But, Jesus Christ, your rules shouldn't put you at a competitive disadvantage & be so restrictive that your program is perceived as undisciplined because your standards are so high...

frick, look at the loser programs who are laughing at us at our expense... It just pisses me off so bad...

God damn it can't why can't we just be lenient like everyone else?

It's just what happens when you have a future church pastor coaching a bunch of young men.

Does it suck? Sure... Does it really fricking suck because it's our team? frick yeah.

It's not that they are lenient. Most of them dust 100% of the shite under the rug. Problem is the media... Tuscaloosa writers aren't interested in flipping through 200,000 pages trying to fish out any piece of information about a tide player just to boost their website traffic. Everyone in that state is "Roll Tide Roll Y'all". frick, I bet Tuscaloosa police pull those fricks over drunk or high all the time and give them rides home. If it's made public, you have to punish them. I blame the AJC 100% in this case.

This shite happened over 2 weeks ago and would have never surfaced had someone not been searching with a fine tooth comb.

I'll never go on that site ever again and will bash them to anyone I see that brings it up.

frick the Atlanta Journal Constitution and all their "writers".
