They should’ve.

Everyone knew they were being gas lit on them pre season but their melt down is just not acceptable at that level of modern day CFB

I’m only surprised they put up the 50mil for it

$49 million dollar buyout. Just pure insanity

Never forget his postgame meltdown with Todd Grantham.

State legislatures should pass laws against such nonsense.

Franklin is an a-hole but he is a good coach and I will be surprised if Penn St. gets an upgrade.

I don’t like the guy but that seems a bit drastic based on a bad year. Hell he had them pretty deep in the playoffs last year.

Is he the B10 version of CMR? Wins a lot but always loses the 1 or 2 that matter?

They're about to back up the Brinks truck for Curt Cignetti

I would go after Fran Brown

But hard to argue with Curt. Dude is a winner

Doubtful. Lea is Vandy’s version of Kirby.

Mike Locksley would be a good hire. Another coach from the Saban tree. He has done pretty good at Maryland.

Maybe. I’m sure his Pat Mahomes wannabe QB will follow him if he does accept the job.

They just fired their last Vandy coach. Lea isn't leaving his alma mater.

I believe forces larger than we can understand drove that kid to Nebraska. I could not pull for a larping mental patient. It’s the grossest trait anyone can adopt. To try and body snatch at that kind of level

It's worth noting that CKS is the only hire from a "fire the 10 win guy because he can't get over the hump" that's worked out.

He's 37-43 at Maryland, 17-42 in conference play, and he's 39-69 overall as a HC. That's... not good at all.

Yah, sounds like Matt Ruhle will be the guy. Franklin is still a good coach. He did wonders at Vanderbilt. I'm sure he will turn up at another big program unless he wants to hit the announcer's booth.
