Bama loss makes us 2nd best SEC team at worst (11-2, Bama and UF each at 10-2) which Sugar gets first pick of

Likely would play Clemson in Peach

OU in Sugar if they get left out, Baylor if they don’t (assuming OU beats Baylor next week)

Playoff or bust. I fear how this team will come out in our bowl game if we don't make the playoffs.

LSU should fear how this team is going to come out in Atlanta one week from today.

Yep, a whole week of the Dawgs hearing about how badly they're going to get beat.

I wasted my money going to the Sugar Bowl last year. If/when this team gets run out of the building by LSU, the season is over for all intents and purposes.

Nope.Pretty sure we have to go out west. Not allowed to have "perceived" home field advantage in the semis

Oof, Baylor is good. UGA win no one cares but if Baylor wins sheesh.

Top seed team picks where they want to play. Ohio State will probably not pick the Peach Bowl

Let's hope they are believing their hype and get cocky/caught looking past us to CFP. Would LOVE to come out super aggressive and smack them in the mouth early/quick.

If we beat LSU, we likely move up to 3 and play Clemson in Atlanta as Ohio State would want to take 1 loss 4 seed LSU out to Tempe, away from their fanbase

Interesting thought on OSU potentially picking AZ....

I never thought about it that way, but you might be right.

Right now LSU's D is looking every bit as tough on aTm as we were. OL better be healthy and have a career game...just saying

No they don't but the committee will pick a closer venue for them because of their hjght seed

quote:

The committee will put the higher-seeded team in the more convenient location with respect to geography and potential homefield advantage. So if Florida State finishes No. 1, they will get to play in New Orleans rather than Pasadena. If Oregon finishes No. 1, they will get to play in Pasadena rather than New Orleans.

OSU has a large fan base in Georgia. I would see them choosing Peach for that reason. Closer for those that travel and forces LSU or Clemson west.

This assumes we pull some magic.

I don't see us in the peach. If we win I'm still not sure lsu makes it in.

Agree with this. They have a huge fanbase here and Atlanta isn't that far from Ohio. Not sure the LSU base would travel twice to Atlanta.

OSU has the largest alumni base in the country.

I'd prefer to have this discussion in exactly seven days from right now, following a UGA upset win in the SECCG, please.
