I am 100% overreacting to one game that we didn't even look that good in, but I fully expect this team to get into the tournament this year.

Edwards is so good and the rest of the team should develop well around him this year.

Edwards won the game by himself.

He is a star for sure. The rest of the team... Don't know yet.

I just want to see the Dawgs make a little tournament run. Football is my main course, but March Madness is fun as shite.

making the tournament would be an absolutely huge step for us and is certainly in the cards. that's about it, though.

having a star helps you when you are on the bubble, whether it's fair or not. nice that we have one.

I agree. I am hoping we earn the invite based upon our play but if we have to invoke the draw of the Edwards, then so be it

I think our season goes as Rayshaun Hammonds goes. If he has a Marcus Thornton like epiphany as a player and finally lives up to his billing, we can make some noise. If he continues to show up sometimes but disappear a lot, we’re going to struggle

11 of the players are true freshman and sophomores. Crean even said tough days are gonna be ahead after the game last night

We are going to win some games we arent supposed to and we are going to lose some games that we arent supposed to. Thats how its going to be with such a young team. I expect something like 17-14(9-9) and a NIT berth, but we have the talent for the tourney. They just have to gel as a team a little quicker than anticipated.

Hopefully we can get to the tournament. It has been a while. I am reminded of when we had Kentavius Caldwell-Pope one season. That didn't really equate to a lot of wins. Still Crean is a much better coach he is going recruit more guys. We'll see how the team does in the SEC. The SEC is a tough conference in hoops. Usually most of the teams are tough from the top to bottom of the conference. Seems like they usually take the top 5 SEC teams though.

I know KCP stayed more than 1 year. Wasn’t he there 3?

Wish Edwards would stay a few and actually help build something but with his talent he's gone.

Wheeler is a good sign for us to have a good PG for a few years so hope guys like Camara and Brown can develop so when Edwards leave we still have some studs.

kcp stayed 2 and was sec poy as a sophomore.

if edwards stays more than 1 year, that would likely be a bad thing, not a good one.

Did we pay $300k for him for 1 year only? If he thinks about a year 2, do we have to renegotiate?

I think we have reached the point where I am willing to admit that I was wrong.

Also, Jodeaux was completely correct
