IDK about dud but it certainly didn’t do much here. There’s a decent amount of ice but doesn’t look to be devastating. Roads are spotty. Be careful out there.

I have a job going on near memphis and they say trees down everywhere and no power since last evening.

Greenville SC saw wave one last night. But we still have intermittent coming in. The question becomes how long until the power lines start getting hammered.
Even if we melt by mid week, we are back down in single digits and low teens next weekend. It’s going to be a drawn out experience here

I’m in Greer… Main roads are fine. As expected, back roads are closed in some areas. I hope it kinda continues to stay the course as is. If we get a downpour of freezing rain like they’re predicting today around 2, then things could get really hairy.

We've got about 1/8" layer out here in Bogart, GA just West of Athens.

IDK if our local meteorologist understands the difference between sleet and freezing rain or I don’t. He keeps saying we’re getting hammered and it will get worse freezing rain and the shite that’s falling here most definitely looks like sleet.

Sleet is ice pellets. Freezing rain is liquid that freezes instantly on contact with the surface.

Everything said that the temps would rise above 32 when the rain line got here but it’s still 29 - we’re in for it until 9 or so.

Temps behind the front are rising as it goes through. Hopefully that helps people on the Southern part of the ice. The ones that just got glazed
