Louisiana is up to 7000 tests a day. Georgia is not far behind, it really has ramped up. And that's just results being released from tests days ago, today I'm sure actual tests per is up to 10k daily per state. Won't take but a couple days to have a really good picture.

Another cool stat is that % of tests going positive is on the decline, and not by a little bit.

These numbers should make objective people happy or at least hopeful.
Pay attention to who is angry or frustrated by the numbers to come in the next week.

10-20% positive rates in testing tells you it is working?

Called this shite pages ago. Yet, you still claim it's too late and hospitals are overrun.

Are you having a tough time keeping up with which media, hyper-fear rhetoric you should be spewing from your bunker?

Can you give me 1 piece of evidence it wouldn't be the same had we not done any social distancing, including the next 5 years of deaths related to the seasonal flu, preexisting conditions, old people, economy, canceling of healthcare, famine, etc?

I wouldn’t get to go back to normal life afterwords. I probably wouldn’t even get any documentation that I actually had it.

In Albany 46% of tests are positive. As of today, we've recorded 217 positive tests and 255 negative tests.

You predicted when the evidence proved us right we would tell you about it? Good job. Keep on patting yourself on the back.

I said it was too late to not go over the line (but never said it wouldn’t help). I would be thrilled to be wrong about that for everywhere, but it’s probably true for some places, but not others. That’s how it goes with an unorganized mess of a plan.

The problem is the swabs are RNA testing so you're only testing acute disease. If someone had it three weeks ago and happens to be young and healthy, the test will be negative. We won't get a real idea of the percentage if the population that had it without antibody testing.

I'm keeping a spreadsheet tracking that site, since they don't provide day over day updates.

Based on March 24 results in... 406 new tests
Based on March 25 results in... 695 new tests
Based on March 26 results in... 2747 new tests

Because the results are a few days past the test date, it's reasonable to think we're approaching the 10,000 test per day mark as of today. Remember when looking at those results on the DPH page, you are looking at what was happening several days ago due to the lag in processing the test.

The #'s posted are what confuse me. We had someone at my office test positive on 3/13 which was the last day we worked from the office. Basically HR and also health providers are saying we will not get tested unless we are high risk patients. So if only high risk patients are tested aren't the death rates going to be higher than they really are? Also ironically enough there was a bug going around the office since the end of February that had a dry cough and fever.
