Your info might be bad. Great Waters marina is on a different branch of the lake than the Ritz Carlton.

The sheriff said he's had at least 5 psychics there. I want to know what the psychics said.
Litigator, do you have any way to find that out?

Well lemme see. I did read where her body was found near a dam.

That seems odd. Are psychics used on a regular basis now? 5 seems like a lot.

It’s kind of weird. They even have a psychic’s version of DawgRant to discuss these kinds of things. LINK

That's exactly what I had read, which is not consistent with what PerryDawg was saying.
If it was near the dam, that is consistent with my theory.

Pretty descriptive here-five to six miles from their home in 46 feet of water in a wide bend above the Wallace Dam-according to the Macon Telegraph. LINK
Then my theory still has merit. Thank you Litigator.

My wife booked me and my old buddies a lake house on Oconee this summer for my 40th birthday. Pontoon boat too. In this area.
I intend to solve this case. And maybe catch a few crappie.

It's going to be like The Burbs.
Pretend everything is fine, gonna cook steaks and drink beer and relax and fish, but as soon as I kiss her goodbye, the investigation begins.

It’s kind of hard to piece together exactly where the body was found according to the different articles. It was obviously floating, evidently hung up on some surface obstruction like a tree because the fisherman saw it. But then there’s the reference to concrete blocks and the body being found in 46 feet of water. No doubt the Sheriff’s Office knows but I doubt any kind of formal case file has been released.
Edit:I’m guessing the blocks were found in 46 feet of water and the body surfaced above them and got hung on an obstruction on the surface above the blocks.

In the first link I posted, the Sheriff is releasing additional info from the casefile to an AJC reporter last summer, that says the body was bloated with gas from decomposition which would have lifted the two 30-lbs cinder blocks up off the bottom. It was definitely floating when found, and there were definitely two cinder blocks still tied on.
We don't know how the blocks were attached. Feet?hands? neck? torso? Two blocks on one rope? Two ropes with a cinder block each? We don't know.

I said the body was found between the great waters marina which is across from Reynolds Plantation Marina on the main river and the Ritz which is Richland Creek. You go south toward the damn then turn left and that’s is Richland Creek which leads to the Ritz Carlton. The body was found in standing timber by fishermen, and Richland Creek is the only area fitting that description on that side of the lake.
But Richland Creek flows into the Oconee at Wallace Dam. Body could have came from anywhere and floated to where it was found in 5 days, but my theory is they killed her and tied the cinder blocks to her and threw her out in that area which is the deepest part of the lake. Also the Richland Creek area is less populated until you get up towards The Lake Club and the Ritz. You would have to be fairly ballsy to throw the a body out in the Great Waters (Putnam side) and Reynolds Plantation (Greene Side) because those are houses with pretty damn good security systems.

I mean honestly the garage would probably be the only place that would be haunted and I could deal with that to live in that area if I had the money.

Seems like if you want to kill yourself you blow your brains out or sit in the garage with the car running. Especially if you're an old arse lady.
There's a really good chance, even at full pool, it's still too shallow at the dock. Oconee is not like lanier. Ever wonder why there aren't double decker docks there? You'd break your legs if you jumped from the second level.

id say that the area that this house is in would be no more than 15 feet at full pool at the end of the dock there a I believe the that main channel in the center of the lake in that area is between 35 and 40 feet, Sinclair and Oconee are both fairly shallow lakes in relative terms. Oconee's avg depth is only 21'. In 2007 when there was a bad drought, most of those houses along the river had no water under them to launch a boat. We had to shut down our boat launches at the marina due to no water to launch boats. They kept Sinclair at full pool and drained Oconee because Plant Branch made most of the power for that area until they shut it down a few years ago
