Say what? How does Fields' decision affect a pocket passer from California?

Watching strouds film he’s not exactly a straight drop back pro style qb. Not the elite runner that fields is but he will put up serious numbers in their offense.

I thought he would be crazy to come here and play in coley’s offense when he can learn Day’s offense for a year and then put up god like numbers for the next 2 before declaring early,

Fields decision= the gift that keeps on giving. Hope we can shake it sometime in the next decade.

Yeah, it'll be difficult in the short term, but a change in the offense will change this as well.

Good news is after next year we'll have an open QB position, so the Fields situation won't apply quite as much. I think Caleb Williams will be a difficult get, but Brock V could be the guy if Riley leaves for the NFL or Spencer Rattler balls out next season.

Brock isn’t leaving OU unless Riley does. He will sit behind Rattler if it means learning from Riley.

Our chances for Burton took a hit when Jarrett flipped to Maryland from LSU. All of a sudden he is their best receiver commit

Are you sure the #1 QB in the nation will be willing to sit for 2 years?

He can put up absurd numbers at OSU. But Coley's offense this year seemed to be designed more for a dual threat QB which would have been good for him.

That is assuming that Burton knew about it ahead of time. If he didn't, and he planned to flip, it may not matter.

Hearing Brock fish about Riley’s offense, yeah he probably would. Plus Riley will get him involved on gadget plays in year 2 the same way he did with Murray and Mayfield.

Even if Riley leaves, Florida is also a serious competitor. Georgia has to prove it can run a functional passing offense before anything else

Winning after proving you are willing to make offensive changes to get better is a hell of a hard pitch to beat. Georgia can sell a lot but it doesn’t have THAT

Honestly needed this kid. Need a burner that can outrun DBs since Robertson hasn’t panned out in that respect
