Kid has been an absolute stud this season. Great at rushing the passer, and he's been really good in coverage this year. He took a lot of heat over the last couple years (somewhat deservingly) but Pruitt has done an outstanding job on him and he's been a great leader for this defense.

A DGD for sure. Loved all those times Pruitt would sneak him up the middle and cause problems for unexpecting qb's.

Swann has been huge this year, would have loved to have seen him get another season under Pruitt.

Glad to see him thrive outside of Grantham's scheme. Good to see him smiling in the 4th tonight.

Love Swann. "Nose for the ball" is a cliche, but he has one for sure!

Yep, have been a big fan of his, particularly this year. He caught an incredible amount of shite last year despite the fact that he was one of the few DBs that was actually doing things right trying to get better. Funny how he looks better when we get better play out of the other players in the secondary.

Swann played well this year when we needed him most.

Great senior season for him. I hope he finds the right fit where he can stick in the pros

He was a warrior this season. The leader of the defense without a doubt.

Our defensive backfield would have been in shambles if it were't for him.

Salute to you, Damian. DGD

I agree on Swann. Always liked his play. But the unsung hero for the defensive backfield has to be Dominick Sanders. A freshman that has stepped up and played like a seasoned veteran. Always seems to be all over the WR when the ball is thrown his way.

He led the team in interceptions in 2012, under Grantham.

In 2013, he got burned by the elite receivers he lined up on. That wasn't a problem with "scheme".

In 2013, he played some nickel and money under Grantham, and still did under Pruitt.

He was used often in corner/safety blitzes under both Grantham and Pruitt.

In 2014, he continued being a shitty tackler. He has been good at tackling receivers, but not good at tackling running backs.

Why all the Grantham hate?

Move on, and stop being a shaken bitch ex-girlfriend.

I don't think it's really Grantham hate. I mean there's no doubt having a DC that coaches DBs helps him but nobody is surprised Pruitt coaches DBs better than Lakatos.

And I said so many terrible things about him last season.. Goes to show what a competent coach can do with raw talent and the right schemes. Pruitt turned Swann into an NFL player. Great season for the kid and I wish him the best at the next level

I like coconuts, you can break them open, smell like ladies lying in the sun... but Swann will never play in an NFL game.
