Marc Weiszer doesn't check the Barrow bookings daily like he does with the Clarke bookings. That's why we're just now hearing about this speeding ticket.

I’ll be honest. Unless it causes him to miss game time I don’t give a damn.

This should always be the answer, unless it's a violent crime.

I know tons of people that have driven with their license expired.
Nolan’s been a busy man the last few months. This is not remotely a big deal.

89 mph in a 55 zone? He damn well deserved to get a ticket. Judge should hit him with maximum fine.

Mark Richt would have suspended him for the first 2 games of the season.

Oh here we go.... Hopefully he doesn't miss any games

Let's ask ourselves a question-
Pretend your job is UGA athletics beat reporter for the Athens daily newspaper. Not Macon, not Columbus, not ATL, not Savannah. You are in the heart of Athens. The flagship paper, so to speak.
With everything going on with the program right now, and all the content you could publish....
You dig up a two-week old speeding ticket from Barrow County and decide to run with it...
Imagine any beat writer for any other program doing this.
Sad sad man.

Its always the innocent people these selfish idiots end up hitting that end up dying. Somehow, the ones who cause it usually survive.
Remember the former bama player earlier this year that hit the young woman doing 100? And he sat on the curb on the phone after the accident while she and her dog were burned alive trapped in her car.
Probably one of the worst possible ways imaginable an innocent person could die

Going faster than that; and drunk. And I think in a lower speed limit zone.

Was it an expired license or a suspended one?!? There’s a bug difference

It was suspended not expired. I see the difference but I don't see the "big" difference.
It's stupid but so are college aged kids.
I've done 90+ on 316. Not often but I have done it. I have received two tickets on 316. It's really not that big of a deal. It's wrong, and it's not smart, and there are risks, but it's not that big of a deal.

Ruggs will likely do major prison time for this.

Ruggs was actually drunk and running 160+, had slowed to about 130 before collision. Pretty sure it was like a 35 zone too. Slight difference here

This, is the correct answer.

Picture in your yankee mind, the overhead view of a sold out Sanford Stadium that you transplant bandwagon on
Then imagine that that same amount of people would all still be alive and with their loved ones if they hadnt been killed by selfish dipshits driving 90 mph thinking they were cool.
Except, wooopsie!, its a lot more dead people from that than would ever fit inside Sanford

So you guys are arguing over something that never happened: imaginary scenarios?
