New member here. Coming over from the DawgNation forum where I was a regular for years. The owners recently changed the forum format and it is virtually impossible to use. Membership is not happy.
Anyway, about the format here....when I reply to someone's post, how do I get their comments in my post so that they know I replied to them?

Once you get through the probationary period there will be a "quote all" button in the right side of the screen that you can select to quote the entire message.
Are you desktop version or mobile?

When you are making a post/reply, you have the option of “notify when someone replies). If that is turned on, a person will receive a notification that someone has replied to them.

Hit the reply button, then to the right of the box there is "Quote". Highlight what you want to quote, then hit quote. Once you hit quote, reply to that quote and hit enter. Sorry if not clear.

That is clear. You can also reply to part of a comment by highlighting one or more sentences and hitting "copy." Then hit "reply", "quote", and paste what you highlighted.
That is what I just did from DawgsLife post.

Welcome. This board is a little slow sometimes and like most goes sideways occasionally. But it’s a decent place to access opinion and shared passion for UGa and UGa sports (especially football).
Tell us a little something about yourself! Im not a UGa grad, Im actually from Baton Rouge and my ENTIRE family is LSU alum.
My dad went to grad school here when i was in elementary school and UGa was my first sports love. My wife is UGa grad and Ive been living in five points two blocks from Butts Mehre since 1997. It’s a UGa fan and dirty old man’s fantasy come true and never gets old. You should see some of my neighbors.

I didn't go to UGA either. I'm a WAZZU grad. Didn't become a Dawg fan till I had the opportunity to be stationed in Athens from 2004-2007 in the Marines (lived in Bishop/Watkinsvile). There used to be a Navy base there with a Marine Detachment. While there I had the opportunity to meet Vince Dooley several times and even got to play foosball with Coach Richt in his basement once (church picnic he sponsored). I also used to work field security for home games. We would bring over about 20 Marines and they would put us right on the field. Coach Richt gave me a signed football when I transferred out in 2007. In 2008 I was in Iraq and sent VD a picture of my unit holding a UGA flag, and he sent me a signed football also.
Anyway, been a diehard UGA fan ever since. Was a regular member on the old DawgPost forum, and most recently the DawgNation forum. Both of those went to shite so I'm trying to find a new home to talk UGA football.

Crap, dude. I was born in Baton Rouge, and went back as an adult for 3 1/2 years with Delta Airlines. Worked at the BTR Airport.
Baton Rouge is a good place to be FROM. Somebody with a large gun would have to put the gun on me to make me move back. Sorry if you liked living there.
