I left Baton Rouge over 40 years ago, now, and lived semi-near Cortana Mall. A lot of the guys I worked with would talk about how corrupt the politics were, then say they were going to vote for Edwin Edwards.

They would brag about how low the state taxes were, but the roads were horrid...at least when I was there. When we had a hard downpour my wife and I had to put towels along the bottom of our front door, because the water would come in. I don't miss Louisiana at all. I am always shocked at all the LSU fans that talk about loving Louisiana so much.

The best thing about Baton Rouge when I was there was a restaurant called the Ground Patty 9i don't know if it is still around) and River Walk? (I thin that is what it was called. It was a fairly nice shopping area. I am not much of a seafood eater, so that colors my opinion of Baton Rouge a bit. The firehouse at the airport would have a crawfish boil once a quarter or so, and invite the airline people to eat with them...but....well...no thanks.

Anyway...didn't mean to hijack the thread, so I'll just bow out.

Yep. He and I got into it a few times. He did not like people disagreeing with him...like when he said the key to beating LSU in 2019 was to stop the run. He was willing to die on that hill. Well, we stopped their run game in the SECCG (132 yards and 0TDs). Unfortunately, Burrow went crazy on us, as expected (349 yards and 4 TDs).

We need to find TexDawg and get him over here. That guy was awesome...but Kasey ran him off like he did to a lot of long-time regulars.

He's the nightmare moderator on DawgNation. Dude absolutely loves to antagonize people. Most aggressive and obnoxious mod I've ever seen on any forum. I know for a fact that he ran off at least 5 regulars. I know this because they all sent me PMs letting me know. He's the main reason for DN's dwindling membership. The new format is the nail in the coffin. I expect that place to close up shop in a few months.

PGJ, we have factions here. One of the most evident factions is the negacuntt Dawgs. Some are UGA fans and some are trolls. They can be identified easily. They dislike any white players, the first string QB, the second string QB(but only when discussing the 3rd string QB) ((who is clearly better)) ), the coaches, and they especially like to lecture you on their unwavering desire to demand perfection. If we win by 20, it should have been 30. In game threads, they give up at the first sign of adversity.

If you don’t buy into this world they have created where they somehow feel like they know and could do better than pretty much anyone on or coaching the team… then you are a Disney Dawg.

So, keep that in mind. They typically are most vocal after a loss, because, they told you so. There are not a lot of women on here, but they are the closest thing, so at least we got that going for us.
