He was the one rumored to be coming to replace Bobo after last year. Sofl and the other insiders pretty much gaurenteed it was happening.

Worked under monken and was the go between for Monken and Stet. Stet liked buster and hated monken apparently.

From the monken tree and was super successful at Tech so it's almost like a backup QB situation.

We all want our beloved teams to win but the UF fans are ridiculous. They barely give a coach a chance and then the can his arse. Napier sucked for the most part in my opinion but they had others like Mullen who were decent coaches. UF fans are getting what they deserve in my opinion. I mean who in their mind would want to coach at UF? The fans expectations are outrageous and the pressure must be intense.

I compare this to our fanbase. How many years did we witness teams who had 6, 7, 8, 9 wins per year? Did you see us whining and bitching? Yes, but not like UF.

Will be interesting to see how his plan for Lagway looks next year.

Lagway may be in the Portal next week.

Florida fans really wanted Kiffin. Kiffin would've brought a lot of high flying offense and points, which Florida fans still like to associate the program with, and he also wears a visor and already looks like he's from Florida. But then Kiffin said no thank you. Had to be a kick in the nuts to their ego.

Willie Fritz ressurrected the Tulane program, so I don't know how much credit Summral can get at Tulane. But if you go back further, Summral ressurected the Troy program. But then again Billy Napier resurrected the Ragin Cajuns program.

All of that talk of resurrections just to say who the frick really knows. Maybe he'll be good for Florida. But the odds of him being able to turn around the series with Georgia are not on his side. One more national title and Kirby will be on the Mount Rushmore of SEC coaches. The new Florida goober is about to step way up in class.

Yah, Florida wanted Kiffin bad. It's crazy how far Florida has dropped off since Jeremy Foley. Florida was seen as one of the top 5 atheltic departments back then. He had a bit of a dip when he hired Zook, but he also raised the basketball program to gold standards. It seems like Alabama and LSU are the 2 most successful now taking into account all sports.

The Florida hire was kinda meh. Auburn actually hired a good coach that knows how to play the transfer portal. Auburn will be a tough out from here on out and he already has a decent roster if he can keep his team from going in the portal and get some of those dawgs from his previous school.

Golesh will crash and burn imo. Well, at least I doubt he will be a problem for us

Runs same offense as Huepel apparently. Kirby has that shite on lock.

Not this year he didn't. Tennessee moved the ball at will.

Golesh built the program he was at and did it mostly via the transfer portal. He's much more in tune with how to build in modern football and proven he can do it. He goes into the portal and gets good players. Also, Auburn will give him more resources and access than he had.

Yeah, it was a change from their normal offense

He knows Kirby has the bead on his real offense and tried to pull a fast one.

Yeah that's nice but still not going to have success against us if he keeps that offense

I love X's community notes. Auburn is in shambles. This guy ain't gonna fix it. He's going to spend half the NIL on sunscreen for himself coaching in outdoor stadiums in the SEC.

Nah.

He's a very good hire and almost a perfect fit for them. He can coach.

Sumrall now pulling Faulkner from GT as OC…damnit. Building something there. Hated Key and Faulkner at GT, but even worse to have Faulkner at Florida where he will get some much better players

Faulkner's son played QB at North Oconee. He signed with GA Southern yesterday.

Who's to say Florida will have a quarterback better than Haynes Kings anytime soon?

Faulkner dipped out as soon as his quarterback ran out of eligibilitiy. Smart move.

Philo could move with him. GT seemed excited about him but perhaps Buster knew he wasn’t all that.

Will be interesting to see how willing Lagway is to be a crash test dummy in Faulkner's offense or if he's even on the team.

TheCAW says that Lagway is fat and lazy and only committed to eating a bunch of Chipotle, and TheCAW knows everything.
