something good happens every time he touches the ball. Indiana's autistic QB will win the Heisman but Branch should be there.

I would love to see him haul in a pass on a broken coverage like Arian Smith did vs tOSU in the '22 Peach Bowl and then watch the afterburners kick in.

Assuming he leaves, we gotta go portal to replace him right?

There's one guy on here who swears that Taylyn Taylor is next up in that role, but it seems like it'd be Sacovie White. There may never be another Zaccariah Branch again at Georgia, but I think that White will be electric too.

The consensus is that the most expensive portal receiver will be an X receiver.

Yeah, Z in theory is you game changer, but a lot has to go right to get the ball deep.

Sacovie White is the next dude at slot. Not to say Taylor will never line up there but he’s much more of a Z. White doesn’t have the burst Branch does, because who does? But he’s really quick in his own right and catches everything and is a little thicker build.

One thing I don't understand is why they don't target him more over the middle. It's a natural fit.

I don't think gunner likes throwing over the middle... especially in that 8-15 yard range

I agree with you. I think I can count on one hand the numbers of times he's been seen catching a ball down field.

He reminds me of Metchie from Bama, ferocious catcher and lightening quickness. He really needs targets over the middle.

He does. But Bama, like GT, clogged the hell out that area.
