Honestly, I'd be shocked if Tunsil was implicated. Dude has like 10 pieces that I can find on eBay. Easy to dismiss as some fans who got free autographs and then sold them on their own

No way UGA lets Gurley go down without using GA law to drag them into court and air all their laundry (as it should be).

To let Marshall. Winston, etc continue to play while Gurley sits is a travesty. For Allen to single out one guy is a crime.
Side note, how stupid of authentication companies to use consecutive numbers and allow people to tie these large lots together.

The authentication companies just authenticate them though from what I understand. They aren't the ones paying players or obtaining the autographs. You could certainly say that it's stupid of the dealers to submit that many of the same item for authentication at once though.

I got that info second hand, but I trust the source FWiw... I was under the impression the. Gurley thing was going to be cleared up by now unless the storms in Athens put things behind. They had them in a tornado emergency first thing today.

Only one flight has come or gone this AM (local flight). And UGA was heading up to Indy on Thursday, anyway, for the Bauerle hearing. So, may not hear anything until then.

Stupid and lazy on both ends. They obviously didn't think through the backtracking that could go on. However, up until now they really haven't worried about it because nobody could come after them.

I doubt (no information, just assuming) there's anything gurley related here. I bet when we DO hear something, it'll just be a press release put out by UGA.

I see Bauerle's situation (based on what we know) as a lot different though. And of course the school is going to come down a lot harder on someone bringing fraud into the academic side of things than on a player selling autographs. It's a lot easier to garner sympathy for Gurley's position than Bauerle's based on what we know, and that's regardless of their respective sports.
