More bad news for Dan Mullen and Florida Gators

2021 is a long way off and kids are notoriously fickle - they may well still end up there.

Mullen desperate to close the recruiting gap with GA so characteristics like being academically eligible (Black) & upstanding (J.Jones) take a back seat to # of stars. Now it’s coming back on him. And still can’t land any 5*.

This is going to be an unpopular post, but I am pulling for that kid.
Chances are he got left behind in elementary school and didn’t learn to read. By the time it was realized he may be a good enough athlete to get a college scholarship, he was behind the 8-ball and has had to work very hard just to get to this level.
Say what you will, but trashing this kid is trashing a DGD named Herrien as well.
I like this kids attitude and I hope he does well.

This is more or less what I said elsewhere when someone went hard at the kid... At the end of the day, as much as I want *Florida* to suffer, this is a major blow to the kid's future. Hopefully he gets in at a CC/Juco and they can get him started on the right path... Would much rather see a success story than a statistic here. Especially if it means he ends up somewhere other than Florida.
