Gezuz Christ, are you okay?

None of that is correct. Literally not a single thing.

This is a terrible way to argue and try to berate someone after a simple disagreement.

You look and sound ridiculous and wildly immature. So let’s just stop this now. I don’t want to sling hate at a fellow Dawg fan.

Lol beef i love how you simultaneously attempt to take the high road (are you ok? Don’t want to sling hate etc) AND the low road ‘pessimistic’ ‘miserably cynical’ ‘wildly immature’ (and this from someone (you) who once referred to a fellow poster as a '12 year old little twat')

Very smooth.

But honestly regardless of how you personally felt about the above mentioned assistant coaches, there were certainly plenty of people who freely expressed the sentiments I described. Eg crazy optimism about new coaches followed by quick disillusionment when they didn’t work miracles.

I mean are you gonna deny there was actually optimism about schottenheimer? Followed by belief he was terrible? And are you willing to concede based on his recent sampling results that he might actually be a decent offensive coach afterall?

So if i made an unsound and incorrect logical leap lumping you in with such fans I apologize, but it WAS you who responded to it.

And i never liked coley as a replacement for chaney but still feel 100% his struggles weren’t entirely due to ineptitude that he’s probably not as bad as seems and ultimately monken has more chance of being the next schottenheimer/coley than the next joe brady.

If I am wrong in this point please please please call me out and I will be more than happy to take my lumps hopefully while celebrating an Lsu type year for uga

I just got around to reading all this. Aside from having flashbacks of reading "Their Eyes Were Watching God" freshman year, I have to take miledawg's side here.

We literally can’t have a single thread without it being hijacked 2 pages in. There is a lot of deadweight around here.

I know how to fix it. Just would have to talk with whomever manages the site.

yeah you're right but when you combine the passion and opinion of football fans with the anonymity of the internet that's what you get. but ultimately it's all in good fun - we have our dustups on here then we can forget and kiss and make up and get on with pouring our broken hearts out for the dawgs

I may be wrong, but didn’t Luke also get this title?

I may also be wrong, but I think Luke was named “Associate Head Coach”, so a notch higher.

Those job titles are about watchdog groups and state laws and whatnot with public employees. You can't pay a position coach a million a year without a libertarian douchebag suing, so you have to assign additional job titles to people to get them higher up literal paygrades.

Probably super late on realizing this but I just made a connection. Monken was coaching Fitzpatrick when he was putting up otherworldly numbers after being a career second stringer and journeyman. He had those 3 games in a row with over 400 yards passing.
