Great (sarcastic). We need to pay him whatever he wants.

Do we know how todd enjoyed his gig as the southern miss head coach? Looking at his bio he had a short stint as an NFL position coach prior to being the SM head coach. Then left southern miss to be OC in the NFL before joining us. I wonder if he's the kinda guy that has any interest in being a college HC again? I'd sure hate to lose him

They’re just pulling names from a hat. No evidence he’s even remotely interested.

We have to assume he will be a red hot commodity this year

Agreed but do we have any idea if he has any aspirations to be a HC? He’s no spring chicken and that’s a grind of a job.

If only we had someone on staff that Kirby trusts that could step in on a moments notice…

He is not a rah rah, booster loving kind of guy.
He is down to business, meat and potatoes, x's and o's.
He gets his hands dirty in the wide receivers room because he demands a high standard.

Basically, he will leave for an NFL OC position with full autonomy (i.e. defensive head coach) or better type job.
Until then, this type of noise will boost his annual salary at UGA (which he deserves).

I love me some Bobo but I hope he's been learning from Monken.

Lookin at CTM's wiki he's prolly always rented a home, good lord he's been errywhere.

He'll be 58 in Feb so maybe he's ready to settle down and and end his career in Athens.

BUT... A power 5 CFB head coach job would guarantee him a huge payoff win or lose headed into retirement. Def could see him going back to the NFL before taking a CFB HC job.

Praying he's at peace with sitting back and watching UGA's wealth of talent decimate opposing defenses for as long as he desires.

Cut the man a check, and offer anything else in the contract to keep him in Athens. Praying he has no desire to fiddle around with a program like a HC has to, and just wants to sit back and pick the next walk-on that he'll lead to a national title.

Doesn’t he hate recruiting?

I agree w/ meansonny, think he would leave for an NFL OC job. But still the pay is probably similar for an NFL OC or even an NFL HC position. He just seems like a more cerebral guy that doesn't want to deal w/ HC somewhere like Auburn or a big program. That being said I hope he's mentoring some of the younger guys to take over. I was never the biggest Bobo fan.

He wants back to the NFL. He's not a guy that wants to recruit with any vigor.

He ain't gonna be out there doing to the Brian Kelly cringe just to get turned down by his most coveted recruits.
