O was doing the same shite as clemson and brought in Brady so people didnt question.

What's the story there? Am I missing something obvious?

I don't know. I heard a Charlotte beat writer talking about Brady and he thought Brady was Matt Ruhle's fall guy. Maybe there is talk he is not that great and was lucky to have the best QB in college fb history. I sort of thought the same thing with Bobo. He looked great in 2007 and 2012 when he had Stafford and Murray. Outside of that I thought he was mediocre.

Players do matter, better players generally beat better coaching.

Something isnt right with Brady.

To be expected….coaches are changing more than ever now a days. Look how many different Coordinators have won a championship under Saban at Bama.

There is no allegiance or ties anymore to coordinators. To them, the grass is always greener. Sucks. But, It is what it is.

Would break the internet. Kirby went game of thrones on Mullen calling out his lazy recruiting.

Also think our pitch is nfl prep and while mullen has nfl guys, he still is thought of as a nonpro style guy.

Sure because coaches are given a much shorter leash now.Never seen turnover this bad and it'll only get worse.

Works both ways. They're also fired at the drop of a hat.

If an NFL owner or a CFB AD calls the HC in after the season and says, "Your offense sucks. H are you gonna fix it?" The HC says, "I'll fire that sorry OC and win an NC/Super Bowl next year. Can I get a raise?"

The NFL is even crazier. Turning into the NBA. You get 1 or 2 years and you’re out.

I understand Monken potentially going back to the NFL, what's the story behind Addae?

So Kirby’s version of CNS’s Former Head Coach Rehabilitation Center East? AKA The Carwash AKA Coach’s Witness Protection

We’re already doing that with Luke and Muschamp

I say let Mullen call plays and scheme as long as we keep him the hell away from recruiting.

This is one of the aspects that I think is often overlooked for Saban. He recruits coaches just as well as he does players so in the event one leaves, another can step into the role.

Kirby has proven to do well so far.

I really dont think it's overlooked with Saban but it's absolutely overlooked with Kirby.

He now has four former assts with P5 jobs and two jobs are arguably top 15 (Oregon MSU)

Hell,Dooley didn't have that many in 25 years.

Is there any chance that Dell McGee gets then nod for OC? I’m sure Kirby wants to do everything he can to keep him on staff, and he will get an OC over soon if he hasn’t already so why not give it to him here?
